Hi,Using Livecycle Designer ES, I've built a form for a client. And they have insisted on using a specific, non native font (DIN, in all it's flavours). This is a TrueType font.In the form properties, I have selected "Embed fonts". There are also other fonts like Wing Dings etc...When the form is opened in Reader (9.3), and you look at the Document Properties, under the Fonts tab, all the fonts, except the DIN fonts have "(Embedded)" next to them. The DIN fonts All have 2 extra entries, namely "...

In Acrobat 8.0, I could address the border of a checkbox using:CheckBox1.nodes.item(0).ui.checkbutton.border.edge.color.valuethis does not work when I save the form for acrobat 8.1 and above, with the object CheckBox1.nodes.item(0).ui being undefined, as opposed to a XFAObject in 8.0.Any idea how I can address this property in 8.1 and above? Thanks,Eric

Hi Carly,You'll have to build it as a dynamic form, and save it as such.Cheers,Eric

Hi Suzanne,Based on the limited info, could be any number of things. Below are a few suggestions.1. File size: How many pages is the form? If it's somewhere in the vicinity of 40 pages, then performance will take a hit.2. Events. What events are the JavaScript placed in? Often the event may be firing off more than once, so I'd recommend that you look at the PDF event model to decide the best event in which to place your code.3. Dynamics. When and when are you firing this?Cheers,Eric Lau
