Re: process timeout......300 seconds. - Adobe LiveCycle 08-03-2011
Found the following official statement on http://www.adobe.com/products/livecycle/upgrade/ (under "Must SP2 be installed before these various modules?"):"Workbench 9.5 is installed on the developer desktop and will work with any ES2, whether ES, ES2 SP1 or ES2 SP2, although 9.5 is suggested for use with SP2. Workbench 9.5 is required for use with the three solution accelerators."But I'm wondering, why don't you just install Workbench 9.5? It's quite easy and noncritical.Hope this helps.Nico

Re: process timeout......300 seconds. - Adobe LiveCycle 04-03-2011
Hi,Yes, you can. LCES Workbench 9.5 is compatible with LCES 9.0 Server. Contrariwise wouldn't work (LCES Workbench 9 and Server 9.5).RegardsNico

Using xpath expressions in Document-Builder - Adobe LiveCycle 04-03-2011
Hi allwe have re-designed our (existing) DDX-templates with the Document Builder in LC Workbench. The DDX templates are used to assemble PDFs with LC Assembler-Service.Now my question: Is it still possible to use XPath-expression in the DDX template? Please find our example below:The XPath expression works only if we copy&paste the DDX source code directly to the Assembler-Service property view (picture below). But referring the DDX-template doens't interpret the xpath path at run time (2nd pict...

Re: Floating field doesn't show values (rendered by LCES Forms) - Adobe LiveCycle 17-02-2011
Raised a support case at Adobe and got the following answer:"This problem seems to be a LiveCycle bug. I sent it on to the next level support and will update you with the bug number as soon as it is logged. They are informed about you planning to go live next month. Until the bug is fixed the only workaround is to save the forms as dynamic forms."RegardsNicoMessage was edited by: Nico Meier

Re: Floating field doesn't show values (rendered by LCES Forms) - Adobe LiveCycle 15-02-2011
Hi Paul,I've realised that I was not accurate when formulating the history of this issue.Actually the form used to be a dynamic PDF form (in LCES 8.2). It seems that this is the crucial point... floating fields does only work properly in dynamic PDF forms but not in static ones (verified in LCES 9.0.0.2).Is this a bug or a feature? Nico

Floating field doesn't show values (rendered by LCES Forms) - Adobe LiveCycle 14-02-2011
Hi all,we are using Adobe LCES and LC Designer for several years (LCES 8.2). We've been using floating fields all the time to build dynamic text strings within our templates and never experienced any issues.Since we have upgraded to LCES 9.0.0.2 (also Designer 9.0) we are not able to get the floating fields working as expected. The floating fields don't show any values after rendering by LCES Forms although the rawValues of the fields are set. I've verified that by prompting the value in a messag...
