Re: Flowing columns of different sizes to new page
kc
- Adobe LiveCycle 11-12-2012
Hi Niall,I did have a look at it and I can't seem to get it right. Do you understand my requirement for having two unequally long columns and that I need them to be paginated to the next page?It should look like this if both columns will paginate: Currently this is done in Jetform, so I guess it must be possible somehow in Livecycle ES also, I just can't get it to do what I need. I hope you have some pointers on were to look SincerelyKim Christensen

kc
- Adobe LiveCycle 20-03-2012
Hi again dohanlon,You were right, something in my script on the form was not executed correctly - seems like the util.stringFromStream does not work in the form if you run it in the plugin. I changed my code into usinsg the stringforStream method in my trusted function and then it suddenly worked. Thanks a lot for your help btw - it led me into understanding that it was possible to use the trusted functions inside the belly of the browser plugin also\Kim

Hi again,The .bat file is located here: c:\file.bat on the server. When I invoke the process through Workbench nothing happens, but when I execute "cmd /c c:\file.bat" in "Run" on the server then the .bat file is executed. CheersKim Christensen Dafolo A/S

Create a PDF with DDX that can be converted to PCL by generatePrintedOutput
kc
- Adobe LiveCycle 08-02-2012
Hi all,I have a scenario that puzzles me a bit.I have some forms that are Interactive forms (stored as XDP with the property Dynamic XML Form).I need to assemble these xdp-forms (and fill them with data) and add it all up in one PDF. This PDf should be converted to PCL and later shipped off to a printer. However I see a conflict in doing this by using the Invoke DDX and generatePrintedOutput services.I can easily create my PDF, but to make it work I have to include the tag in my DDX. However wh...

Re: XSLT file with process_data values - Adobe LiveCycle 15-02-2012
That cannot be done because, your external XSLT file will not be resolved againts the XPATH expressions mentioned within it.Alternatively you can update the XPATH content using SetValue activity.Templates values are always resolved.Nith
