Re: AEM 6.3 static agent configuration RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
I believe this user is AEM user (eg. Admin in case of local instance). I am using admin as user which has read / write access. Paths are configured properly. I had followed the same blog to configure this. Only thing not clear is how to configure it on Win system (eg my local instance)

AEM 6.3 static agent configuration RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi All I followed the blog to configure Static Agent in AEM 6.3 on my local system running on Windows. It does not work for me and shows error in logs:com.day.cq.replication.ReplicationException: Unable to replicate content with no transport handler. Check configuration.Where to configure this transport handler under Static Agent configuration as there are only two tabs.1. Does it work in the same way in AEM 6.3 ? OR there is some other way to achieve this.2. If it is same as before, how to do I ...

Re: AEM6.1 static replication agent RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi All,Is this still true with AEM 6.3 ? OR there is some other way to achieve this. If it is same as before, how to do I configure it for Windows system. I am trying this on my local instance. How do I provide the target directory ? For Unix/Linux it is like /tmp. How about Windows ? I am using Agent User Id as AdminAlso, I am seeing below in error log: com.day.cq.replication.ReplicationException: Unable to replicate content with no transport handler. Check configuration.

Re: Approval Workflow - Page and modified Assets publish together RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
Thanks Arun. But what I was looking for was kind of API method which tell me that this asset needs re-publishing because it was modified after last publish. Doing manually was the last option.

Approval Workflow - Page and modified Assets publish together RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
I have got a custom workflow to activate the page post approval. But it has issue where it only publishes page and not associated assets. I get to know about AssetReferenceSearch class to activate the assets. However, I am trying to fine tune it a bit to publish the assets only if they are not published or modified after last publish action. How do I achieve it programmatically . I am on AEM 6.3

Re: AEM and Target integration issue RonakB - Adobe Target
Thanks jrohit. For question 1, so Cloud Config is only required to add DTM to the page. Rest all configurations should be handled via DTM tools. Is that right? For question 2, Yes I created activities using VEC and I am checking it on my local AEM author environment (using wcmmode=disabled) to view it as published. But not able to see the activity result even when 100% of traffic is routed to Experience B.

AEM and Target integration issue RonakB - Adobe Target
From the tutorials I found that there are two ways to connect AEM and Target. 1. Using DTM (via adding target as tool) 2. Via cloud configuration in AEM miscadmin and attaching it on the page. Question-1 What is the difference between the two and when to use which option ? Question-2With option 2 I am able to see the results and my activities created in AEM are getting synced to Target. However, when I create any activity in Target and access my page in AEM, I don't see personalisation on the pa...

Re: API connection to DTM failing RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
If you are using newer version of AEM probably 6.2 onwards, there are some changes and you need to use a different OSGi configuration to set proxy. Reference: Re: DTM integration proxy settings

Re: Sibling node name id and identifying them in path browser RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
Agree but as discussed earlier wanted a more fine tuned way of doing it other than Listener / Post Processor. Seems like there is no direct way to achieve this. Still waiting for any discussion around @ nameHint param.

Re: Sibling node name id and identifying them in path browser RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
The idea is to create a page under something like /content/mysite/global/ and author all the required instances of that component under that. Then in the product specific pages, simply use reference to this. We thought to go with content fragment but faced below challenges.1. This is not a single field reference. It is a mini component with textfield, RTE and pathbrowser in turn. So we though to use CFM but faced limitations.2. Also, we are on SP2 CF1 right now where CFM is disabled for some rea...

Re: Sibling node name id and identifying them in path browser RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
Thanks Peter. So we are talking about overriding path browser component rather than looking at how the nodes are created. when you say nice presentation, what is your idea ? Are you saying to try to display component title / some other field instead of node name ?

Re: Sibling node name id and identifying them in path browser RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
Thanks Arun for your reply. I had thought of Listener. But just don't want to add listener which will trigger it for all the requests of Node Creation throughout my multi tenant instance (I know I can request based on Path / resource type etc - but that will still come to the listener at least ones) . I was looking for rather elegant way where it triggers only for the component I want it by adding some properties / adding :name parameter for Post Servlet / adding some mixins if possible. I heard...

Sibling node name id and identifying them in path browser RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi All,When same component is used more than one time under same parsys, it is created using unique id like mycomponent_1526332 and so on. Now when content author tries to reference any of those 4-5 instances created in another page using path browser, they can not differentiate between them as it shows like mycompnent_1234433, mycompnent_3243555 etc. Question is : 1. Is it possible to control how this ID is created when node is created and we can give more meaningful name like mycomponent_01, m...

Re: Sightly Code to iterate over Map which is list of String - Does not work in 6.3 RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi smacdonald2008:Thanks for the article but that uses a normal java collection and I have evidences in my code that this works fine. The issue we are observing is especially when there is a key which is Integer object and in sightly we use [] notation. See my code above. This used to work fine in 6.1

Re: Sightly Code to iterate over Map which is list of String - Does not work in 6.3 RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
And we were able to identify the same pattern for 2 other components and fix it in the same way. Basically the array notation with square bracket is not working where the Model is returning HashMap(Interger,List).

Re: Sightly Code to iterate over Map which is list of String - Does not work in 6.3 RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
The way I fixed it was by converting the Map key from Integer to String. myMap.put(Integer.parseInt(i-1),list)No change in Sightly component. Not sure how this worked in 6.1 and not in 6.3.kautuksahni / smacdonald2008 : Have you heard about this type of issue before ?

Sightly Code to iterate over Map which is list of String - Does not work in 6.3 RonakB - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi All,We have sightly code which was working fine in 6.1 and stopped working in 6.3. Code to iterate over Map which is a list of String. Sightly (HTL) ${columnCell} Model Java:Map> myMap = new HashMap>(); for(int i=1;i<=3;i++) { List list = new ArrayList(); list.add("" + i); list.add("" + i*i); list.add("" + i*i*i); myMap.put(new Integer(i-1),list); }This sightly code stops working where ${table.rowList[row]} always returns null and hence inner loop does not execute. Is there any chang...
