My attempts used a clean install of the latest AEM Preflight (version 2017.2.0).Can you send me a private message with the crash log from one of your devices? I wanted to give you an update.Fixes for the accent issue and truncated messages are being pursued for our next release in January.The branded icon request is a bit more complex and needs some additional coordination, but I have put it in our list of feature requests.

With Nate's help, i was able to edit the Info.plist within the unsigned .ipa and increment the version to a safe, acceptable number. Thanks for your help!

No, you shouldn't see a white border in a smooth scrolling article. That sounds like an old bug that was fixed a while ago. Can you make sure InDesign is up to date? (Choose Help > Updates.)
