those linked dropdowns you posted were a massive improvement on the purchaseOrder example that came with livecycle 8.2adding to the '2 dimentional' array was a nightmare before and the previous script had bugs - if you changed the country the state column didnt blank itself so you could be country canada state californiaif only livecycle came with 20 or 30 example forms

No ..the best you can do is bring up a chooser and allow the user to pick the image. The other option is to deliver the image to the form via a web service call.Paul

There is a function that returns the # of milliseconds from the epoch but you have to create a date object first. Do a google search of date arithmetic for javascript and you will see plenty of examples.

Does your PC have an email client?2. if a user sends a file as an attachment can the second, third user etc then open, ammend the form and send it on its way to someone else. thnaks for your post thomas i appreciate your help on this 🙂yes it did put 'other' in my text box.i managed to overcome the proble using a workaround, it isnt ideal but it works. i put a clickevent in the radiobuttons and changed the text box from calculated to optional
