i have a text field which i am trying to change by using a
client) if (this.rawValue ==
1)EstimateValid.xfa.resolveNode("caption.value.#text").value = "Due to
material price changes throughout the year all our estimates are valid
for a period of 30 days unless mentioned otherwise elsewhere in this

thx for your reply i really appreciate your helpit is the change event
that was giving me problems. it seemed easier to solve the next
different country is selected.
countryScript.getStatesOther(xfa, stateProv);i changed it
my dropdowns work correctly however when more addInstances are added the
country dropdown (when change event happens) clears the first instance
of the state dropdown only.eg.let say i have 6 addinstances with country
and state dropdowns. when country canada is changed to america
regardless of what _row it is. it clears the state dropdown in my first
_row only // This function will populate the state/province Drop-down
List for any event EXCEPT the change event. // This function is called

those linked dropdowns you posted were a massive improvement on the
purchaseOrder example that came with livecycle 8.2adding to the '2

you could be country canada state californiaif only livecycle came with
20 or 30 example forms

hoping that acrobat or even better reader would let me put an image into
the final formcan it be accomplished (using a livecycle form) in acrobat
hii am redesigning a receipt that uses addinstance. because of the ever

have never come across anyone using livecycle in this way before and was...
wow i need the exact same thing.i need the whole form locked once it has
been filled in.i agree with He Gri was thinking of adding a button which
prints to 'cutepdf' and then the locked file can be saved or emailed.
but for several forms talling the freeware pdf generator 'cutepdf' is
time consumingpaul if you could send me the code that would be very
useful to me thanks (yet again)firstname.lastname@example.org
