Prevent Barcode recalculated when hiding pages - Adobe LiveCycle 28-11-2011
Hi Experts,I've defined a QRCode in a master page and defined its content in the field's initialize method. The final user accesses the Pdf using adobe reader and not acrobat.Everything works fine, except when a page is made hidden (through js, with presence='hidden' function). The QRcode is recalculated and, due to the fact adobe reader is used, it becomes grey.Is there any way to solve that problem? I mean, can I make hidden some pages on the form mantaining a valid QRCode?Best regards,Dariush.

Re: Printing 2 copies of a document where a floating field change - Adobe LiveCycle 08-11-2011
@dan_x3Thank you for your suggestion, my field is in the master page and unfortunately your tip doesn't work.Don't know why. Moreover, in your example 2 different printing processes are sent and this can be a problem for the customer because one printer is used for more pc clients and there's no guarantee regarding the sequence of pages printed by different pc (for example, the first copy from a pc could be merged with the first copy from another pc.@PaulThank you Paul for your suggestion, I've ...

Re: Printing 2 copies of a document where a floating field change - Adobe LiveCycle 04-11-2011
Hi Paul,is there an easy way to duplicate all the form pages at runtime before printing?I'd avoid to duplicate the entire content during design due to a complex procedure mantaining the final document (if any correction needed, I'd modify the document twice).Bet regards,Dariush.

Printing 2 copies of a document where a floating field change - Adobe LiveCycle 03-11-2011
hi experts,Context:I have an interactive form compiled by a user.when compiling is finished, I'd need to print 2 copies of that document; the 2 copies are exactly the same but a floating field that has to change, i.e. 'Copy for ME' and 'Copy for the CUSTOMER'.Placing 2 print buttons it's not a problem, in the first button I set the Floating field to 'Copy for ME' and send a print command, in the second I do exactly the same with the 'Copy for the CUSTOMER'.Which is the best strategy to print tho...

Re: get exData body of a static text - Adobe LiveCycle 03-11-2011
Yep this could work, but I wanted to modify the static text content due to a floating field, present in that element, which must be blue during editing and that should become black at printing time.Walking around forum I've found other approaches to that (i.e. for each floating field use a pair of ffields, one blue, one black, and switch the rawData between the ffields in pre and post print processes), I wanted an easier way to do that.Dariush.

Hi Paul, the function saveXML (with or without 'pretty') works fine when applied to a text field, but not when applied to a static text. This from my point of view.Dariush.
