HiWe haven't installed the LiveCycle server yet. Did not get the answers we were looking for from Adobe.I felt they are being pushy towards selling their upgraded AEM product than answering what we actually need.

Can someone please assist?PS:We have forwarded this query to the Adobe team in Sydney. But I am not expecting any reply from them for next 20-30 days. They do not seem be interested in sales. Hi,We need to connect web services for data population on our LiveCycle XFA forms. But for authentication purposes, we need to pass windows user id to the web services. The forms will be used only by the company employees in a secured internal network. I read a few blogs and this one mentions about using Acrobat's Identity object. But for that we need to run script on each and every user machine.Do we have any other way to grab windows user id using LiveCycle?

Hi guys, I believe if something can be done manually, there has to be a way to do it automatically as well. Please suggest a solution on the above question.@Adobe experts - You can possibly come up with a standard solution. I am sure many users would want it.

Hi,I think copying a 'signature' into other signature fields will defeat the purpose of 'signing' the document at required places. That's is why it is logical for security reasons to not copy the signature into other fields.

Hey,Have you found the solution yet?LiveCycle product has so much potential and features. But these kind of things are very irritating and the support is really awful.I wish someone from Adobe comes out and gives some clarity on the future of Adobe LiveCycle / XFA forms.

Hi SI_MSD7,Are you able to render LiveCycle PDF to HTML?If yes, how?Did you install the turnkey LiveCycle Server? I tried to search for that but could not get the downloadable file on the Adobe site.

Hi Khushwant I will chat with the AEM sales team to know more about it. But can you please throw some light on Adobe LiveCycle server? In the post above you gave a link to install. It says - "From the download site, download and extract the entire JBoss_DVD.zip file (the LiveCycle Electronic Software Distribution or ESD file) to your file system. Be sure to keep the directory hierarchy unchanged from the JBoss_DVD.zip file."I checked on the Adobe download site and there is no such file. How do I ...

We need a way to convert the XFA PDFs to Acrobat PDFs. We know there is a way to print the file and save as PDF but this will make the form flat like an image. We want a solution where on the click of a button, LiveCycle saves a form as AcroForms (static PDFs). These PDFs will have fixed structure, scripts will be removed but the fields within the PDF should be open/editable. There is a manual way for this - Convert Livecycle PDF to a flattened PDF by using a Print as PDF featureOpen Adobe Acroba...

We have created a few PDF (XFA) forms using the Adobe LiveCycle ES4 Forms Designer (the tool that costs $299). We need to convert and also save those XFA PDF forms into HTML format. After reading a few posts, we believe that the LiveCycle server gives that option. But there is no proper guidance for this. How do we do install that? We have followed this link but it so confusing.. there is not straight answer – https://helpx.adobe.com/livecycle/help/mobile-forms/upgrade-livecycle-es4.htmlA proper...
