- Click to highlight the checkbox.- Select the 'Remove Rotation Icon' (The orange guide line should be to the right of the checkbox symbol)- Adjust the vertical to resize the left side of the Checkbox using the vertical 'orange' guide line to keep the checkbox box symbol to the left side.It took about an hour to figure it out.

In the form:ready event you can set the caption text to remain black and normal by adding the followingthis.caption.font.fill.color.value = "0,0,0"; //Change the Caption to blackthis.caption.font.posture = "normal" //change the caption to normal

Here is PGuerrett's answer from viewing my form:Ok your issue is that you are setting the container subform page2.purflowed to hidden but when you try to make it visible the expression you are using is page2.purflowed.purchasing .....so th epurcahsing subform is visible but the subform that conatins it is not hence nothing gets shown ......you want to make the subform that you hid visible ......then that setting will be passed to all children of that subform.Make sense?Paul

Correct. Reader-extending a PDF is a capability only in full Acrobat that then enables features in Reader.

You are loading richtext into the field so it is not as easy as setting the rawvalue like you have above. You will have to create an xHTML equivalent of what you want to load and then load it into the field when you are ready. The easiest way I have found to do this is to create what I want in a field then to get what the xHTML that represents that do a console.println(fieldname.value.exData.saveXML(); This will copy the xHTML to the javascript console. Then you can see what it looks like and ad...

LIveCycle Reader Extensions Server is a server based program that runs on an application server (JBoss, WebLogoc or Websphere) on just about any platform (Windows, Linix, AIX etc...). It also requires a database to store its information in it. Once it is loaded and ready it provides a web interface (Flash based) that any of your user (assuming you have given then the rights) that will allow them to apply the rights to the form. The good news is that there is a turnkey install that will load an a...

what kind of barcode are using? i think the asterisk problem is a scanner configuration problem. You can capitalize all letters with scanner configuration too or modifing form for capitalize on exit event, for example. If using PDF417 (or paperformbarcode), use TAB field separator without fieldnames, so its easy capture data with a HID scanner and a blank form focused at first field. must have same order-tab as barcode sequence. aware radio and check objects for this solution.

If you want to do that you will not be able to take advantage if the validation features that are supplied for you . You will have to write your own validation code for that field on the exit event of you field.Hope that helpsPaul

The rawValue property does not get set until you exit the field. Because you have coded it on the change event ....ythe vakue is not committed yet. So you have two choices ...you can move your code to the exit event (no change is required)...or if you want to stay on the change event you woudl test the xfa.event.newText instead of the this.rawValue . Note that you can only test this value once per event so assign it to a variable then test the variable in your code.Make sense?Paul

I created a simple sample for you. Note that the code that shows and hides is on th eexit event of the DDLists. I put the parts of teh Proof of Address into a subform and I only have to hide the subform to hide all of its child components ...I do not have to hide each individual component of the Proof of Registration object. Also the form must be saved as dynamic for the presence changnes to take effect.Hope that helpsPaul

LiveCycle Designer won't help at all with enabling the document to allow file attachments. It used to come with Acrobat Pro, but since ACrobat 11 was released it isn't.LiveCycle Reader Extensions is expensive server-based software that used to add various usage rights to PDFs. It can enable more things than Acrobat Standard or Pro is capable of enabling. One of those things is file attachments.

Hi Malcolm,I was trying to get the ghost text, http://cookbooks.adobe.com/post_Adding_Ghost_Text_to_LiveCycle_Designer_form-18436.html, working on my form. However, in my form some fields are enabled/disabled in which case I don’t want the ghost text. I had thought I could call the prePrint/postPrint to clear and enable the null picture from my script object that disables/enables fields. I sort of got it working using;if (fieldNode.resolveNode("event__prePrint") !== null){var contextSave = xfa.c...

I passed the issue onto our Web Analyst. He tried rebooting our Jboss server first but that did not work. He ended up retarting the whole server and that worked. He suspects some components may have timed out or were hanging.

Hey Paul,Thanks, uninstalling and installing worked. If you dont mind I have 1 more question- if I want to send my process files to another developer, what all files are needed, for eg, for forms, only the .xdp files are enough. Is the .process file enough for the other developer to work on the process or would he need even the .process_dependency?Tushar
