Re: Import/Combind PDF page within a form. - Adobe LiveCycle 29-08-2011
I'm not quite sure by which means you would like to perform the combining operation (client side or server side). As far as I know, Designer only allows XFA objects to be added into forms. So all other formats other than XFA will be converted to XFA objects if possible (during the steps I mentioned in last reply). However LiveCycle does provide some document assembling functionalities on server side (Assembler service).

Re: How can a user duplicate or lengthen a form as required? - Adobe LiveCycle 24-08-2011
You may use subforms to replicate a set of form fields. Hope the following help content helps:http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/designerHelp/index.htm?topic=000753

Re: Import/Combind PDF page within a form. - Adobe LiveCycle 24-08-2011
You may try to open the GIS PDF in Designer, then select "Create a Interactive Form with a Flowable Layout" in Import Options. After that you'll see all objects in the PDF have been converted to XFA objects. Then you'll be able to reuse the objects as other XFOs.Not sure if it helps to solve your problem.

Additionally, please also verify that the "save as type" is set to "Adobe Dynamic XML Form (*.pdf)" when saving the PDF.Hope it helps.

Re: PDF Generator ES - createPDF operation PDF to PDF conversion - Adobe LiveCycle 21-03-2011
I think the reason of requiring OCR selected is that PDF-G is supposed to be used to convert other file formats to PDF. The only thing it is designed to deal with PDF is converting image based PDF to text based one (i.e. OCR). I think your requirments of upgrading PDF version make sense though. If there's no other components can fulfill this, it'll be a good enhancement.Regarding your second requirement: secure PDF, you may also have a look at LC Assemble service.

Re: Installation ES2.5 - Adobe LiveCycle 14-03-2011
I think ES2.5 also includes LiveCycle Mosaic 9.5 and LiveCycle Data Services 3.1, besides SP2, Workbench 9.5, and Solution Accelerators. Both LiveCycle Mosaic and LCDS can be found on Partner Portal. Workbench and SA can be downloaded from Adobe Developer Connection.

How can I determine whether committing is required on a collection - Adobe LiveCycle 26-11-2010
Hi,As we all know, we can check whether committing is required on a single object by calling DataManager.commitRequiredOn(object). But how can we check whether committing is required on a collection of objects? I know that DataManager also has the property commitRequired. But the range of change that the property watches is the collection of all managed objects. So what should I do if I want to determine whether changes exist in a subset of the managed objects?
