Is there a recommended browser to use during this beta period? I'm using the latest Safari on Mac 10.10, and having all kinds of issues this morning. Is it safer to use Chrome, or doesn't it make any difference?

@Tommy: Thanks, that has been my observation also. Being very frustrated this morning by updates taking a LONG time to appear, unfortunately.

Force content to update in the app

Can someone tell me what the "rules" are regard app content updates? In other words, does an app only check for new or revised content when it is first launched? Or is it continuously pinging for new content? Or, is there a way to tell the app to refresh and look for new content. And by content, I mean articles, layouts, and cards.

How to tell which card, layout, or collection is being edited

After using DPS 2015 intensely, I've found that one of the more difficult things is losing track of which card, collection, or layout I'm editing at the moment. When I click on a card to edit it, I know at that moment which card it is of course, but as I plow through all the options for the card, it is easy to forget which card i'm working on, especially if I'm interrupted. It would be great if at the top of the screen (perhaps right next to the "Card properties", "Collection properties", or "La...

Re: "Back" vs. "return to collection"

Nate, I think the "back" functionality is important. But there also needs to be a direct way to always return to the collection. Perhaps include both the Back button and the return to collection button in the title bar, or at the very least make the 2 finger pinch always return to the collection, even after a link has been followed. On second thought, I suppose this is problematic when you have an article that contains a button that points to an article in a different collection. Maybe a solution...

"Back" vs. "return to collection"

Normally, a two finger pinch on an article returns the user to the browse page for the collection the article is in. Alternatively, the user can tap to reveal the title bar, and and the name of the collection is tappable in the upper-left corner of the screen. However, if you have buttons that link between articles in a collection, and the user taps one of the buttons, the name of the collection in the title bar is replaced by "Back", so that the user can return to where they came from. But if yo...

How to tell if a collection or an article has downloaded to the device?

I'm wondering if there is any way to force an entire collection to download to the device, or at least to tell which article(s) in the collection have been downloaded? This is particularly important in sales enablement applications. We want to be sure that a sales person has all the content they need downloaded to the device before a customer visit. I don't see an indicator anywhere for this? How does this work, or is this functionality coming soon?

LiveCycle Designer 8.05.I am trying to reset the data in a subform. It is working great in certain subforms in my form. However, some of the code is as follows:if (form1.P1.docSF.new_revision.rawValue == "0") {// do something} else {xfa.host.resetData("form1.P1.newdoc_numberSF");}With this code, I receive an error (in the Warnings panel) that says "$host does not have a method 'resetDataPermsCheck'", yet the subform fields still reset properly. If I move the "xfa.host.resetData..." line out of t...

I have a simple form with 2 fields: "myname" and "phone". "myname" is a drop down list populated with 3 names. I want to be able to populate the "phone" field with a phone number corresponding to the "myname" field automatically.I have the following JS attached to the calculate event of the myname field. This works perfect in Acrobat 7.0.9, but does not work at all in Acrobat 8.0 professional or Adobe Reader 8. Does anyone know why?switch (myname.rawValue){ case "Beth Voigt" : phone.rawValue = "...
