Re: Adobe Analytics and ITP - Adobe Analytics 26-02-2018
Rickysee below ..Late Friday evening I moved over one of our sites to using Experience Cloud ID Service. For those that aren't aware this whilst dropping a first party cookie also drops a third party demdex cookie and thus allows for cross site de-duplication of visitors (if browser accepts a third party cookie). Based on 2 days worth of data, the results are very encouraging with various metrics showing improvements (and hopefully corrections) in line with issue of cookies being deleted mid vis...

Re: Adobe Analytics and ITP - Adobe Analytics 22-02-2018
Update : Please note Adobe has recently changed it's advice and updated the original articleAdobe Analytics and ITPITP is inconsistent with Adobe's 3rd-party cookies. Occasionally, cookies are accepted but are frequently removed, even mid-visit.There's no timelines on a work around solution and therefore my suggestion would be for Adobe customers to move over to 1st party cookies

Re: Distinct Dimension count with metric => x - Adobe Analytics 08-02-2018
Marion .. One of the calculated metrics below, this sums up the page views for articles that had 100+ PVs in the specified time frame. There is a similar which does a distinct count of the rows too With regards being able to trend I'm not sure I know what you mean. As you'll note from the calculated metric it sums up the rows (or count of distinct rows in the other metric) .. therefore I have to have a separate table for each month/duration and thus can't trend. ps. I'm able to trend (bar chart)...

Re: Exclude data via IP Address - Historical Data - Adobe Analytics 07-02-2018
Also worth considering is creating exclude segment(s) ... if your IP's exhibit a specific behavior ie. correspond to a domain not applicable to other IPs (you do not want to filter). this would be historical.

Re: Adobe Analytics and ITP - Adobe Analytics 04-02-2018
Ricky,Visits are breaking mid session and thus inflating Visitors and Visits metric. As this is happening mid session and the cookies being seen as new .. you should see the inflation if you trend visitors/vists over time and apply the filter apple devices, no referrer and visit no = 1eg.We were running on older H.code and therefore recommendation was to move over to Appmeasurement library and/or moving to first party cookies. Moving to first party cookies is currently not a viable option theref...

Re: Firing Wrong(est) alerts - Adobe Analytics 04-02-2018
Francesco,Without having access to report or data .. the two possible scenarios I can think of are ..1. Alert was set up on a different/wrong report suite2. Segment was applied to the alert which does not apply

Re: Distinct Dimension count with metric => x - Adobe Analytics 04-02-2018
eg ...The highlighted metrics was produced relying on row count with calculated metric on a table for specified time frame. ie to produce this metric for different timeframes (for trended) would require separate tables ... and you can only trend data in a single table rather than across multiple tables. So in order to produce a trended visualization I need to be able to create the required metric which can work on date dimension in a single table

That's what I've done to achieve dashboard above.. but this is limited and does not allow for what I mentioned in the previous post

Re: Segment for Visits with 2+ Distinct Page Views - Adobe Analytics 18-01-2018
I'd suggest another possible solution ..Use getPreviousValue .. and then trigger an event 'distinct x count' if value is different to the current page so .. assuming your pagenames are distinct (or you have article id or similar)1st PV : getPreviousValue cookie would be empty so you'd set it to current page (distinct value) .. and would trigger distinct count2nd PV : assuming they refresh the page it you wou;dn't trigger the event as previousValue would be same as current3.rd PV : view another p...

Re: Distinct Dimension count with metric => x - Adobe Analytics 16-01-2018
Across site/networkTake the following as an example ..We've deemed individual articles being viewed 100+ times as being a 'quality' content measurement, So the above highlights 76% of are articles met this requirement/KPI and generating the significant proportion of the overall page views. The above has been produced using row count and a calculated metric which is reliant on row count. The above is a workaround and does not do/allow ..1. Have this trended (each month would require separate table)...
