Hi @sameryadav,First of all your requirement, to use AEM as Oauth token is seems to be not good. So you need to update it.Since AEM is a CMS tool to keep it like that only, So What can you do in your requirement is simply create some OSGI configuration to configure client_id, client_secret and fallback_urls etc. then while making a call to salesforce use those fields for authorisation.I think salesforce has rich support for Rest API Authorisation.Please see the below URL:https://developer.salesf...

We have custom reporting on our Asset Share implementation. You should be able to do something like this:capture Asset Share download events and user on publish instances and create custom audit log entriespull and merge these entries from all publish instances over to your author instance under /etc/somepathschedule a query to run like: SELECT * FROM [cq:AuditEvent] AS s WHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE([/etc/somepath]) and s.[jcr:primaryType]=('cq:AuditEvent') and s.[cq:type] = 'DOWNLOADED';

USing AXIS2 to consume a 3rd party SOAP Stack (WSDL) - is not best practice nor recommended. Its much better to use Apache CFX or even JAX-WS. Apache CFX - https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/creating-cxf-bundles-consume-web.htmlJAX-WS - https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/creating-cq-bundles-consume-web.htmlThe reason why is these libs are part of AEM and there are no dependency issues.

Hi,there is documentation available how you should use the ootb saml functionality [1]. See also the documentation on for 6.1 [2].kind regards,Jörg [1] https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kb/saml-demo.html, it's using Shibboleth and OpenLDAP for demo. If you have already a system offering SAML support, you can concentrate on the AEM part only.[2] https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/administer/security/saml-2-0-authenticationhandler.html

There are multiple examples for queries here [1] please refer the same [1] https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6-1/dam/customizing_and_extendingcq5dam/query_builder.htmlyou can query to get all the assets uploaded on specific date which would return list of nodes where you can iterate to get the asset name.

So you want your Quickupload webapplication to be able to use AEM for authentication? IIRC this is nothing AEM provides ootb, because AEM is not designed to act as a IDP system. You can probably build a custom solution for this, but in that case I would rather setup a dedicated IDP and let AEM authenticate against this IDP, as well as your Quickupload application. Jörg

Hi We want to provide the Link on AEM dashboard like "Quick Upload" and when user will click on it then it will redirect to Quick upload page.( The Quick Upload page is the separate web application and deployed on same JBOSS server but on different domain) Now question is:how we can authenticate the users on redirected application?. Can we pass the user session to Quick Upload application from AEM during the redirect to application? Any suggestion?Thanks~S

Hi Samer,the reason for using MongoMK should be based on your scalability/HA requirements[0]. By default, you would use TarMK, and the assets would be included in the repository files. However, for large DAM installations we recommend using an external data store which can be done with TarMK or MongoMK.[1]Either way, you should batch your uploads to reduce the strain on the system, consider doing this during this when user activity is at it's lowest. Another option is to stop the DAM Upload Asse...

Yes the configuration for classic UI is different and has to be done separately. See the "CREATING NEW METADATA PROPERTY FOR ASSETS" section in the following document- https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6-1/dam/metadata_for_digitalassetmanagement.html#Creating New Metadata Property for Assets

As @scott mentioned, all the users who has write/modify access to DAM should be able to access metadata. I think just the read access to DAM should be able read the metadata properties aswell.
