As per AEM standard practice you do not try to load resources from /var folder. Normally, content get's served either from /content or /etc folders.1) Your website runs from browser or any REST interface2) Your AEM webserver serves your browser CSS,JS(both loaded from client lib) and HTML.3) Your browser loads these resources and tries it's best to render them as best as it can.To your question, with the "var e="assets/panels.html #". It most likely depends on what you are instruct your browser ...

It is Servlet related, in terms of which is decided on by Sling. The mapping I described above produces the following request log for the css file. Note how the servlet used is DefaultGetServlet and how slingRequestPathInfo is incorrect( putting the path to the Page resource, labeling the extension as 'htmletc', and the suffix). 0 (2016-08-24 22:29:37) TIMER_START{Request Processing} 0 (2016-08-24 22:29:37) COMMENT timer_end format is {,} 0 (2016-08-24 22:29:37) LOG Method=GET, PathInfo=/etc/de...

If CSS isnt a case, then I would agree with @kunal123. with SPA, though the pages are included as partials, each partials are a different page w.r.t AEM and Authors have to change author the content at the partial level while then can preview as SPA once done. Yeah, I have tried to think of some 'tricky' ways to make it work but yeah can't escape the fact that you pointed out. Going to have to go the route of kunal123 Hi @blkhatper...

I also started up an instance of AEM 5.6.1 and installed the sample package above. While the TouchUI was in beta in 5.6.1, it loaded without any errors 😛 If you can, please install the sample package I attached on your 6.0+ instance and see if you see the same error. If not, it has to do with me not having access to the various patches/hotfixes deployed

smacdonald2008 wrote... Are you seeing this with all AEM pages or only certain pages. It looks like it is only on the Author pages, thank you for pointing that out! It is something about WCM mode being enabled, and by default a publish instance will not have it enabled. That is reassuring 🙂 http://stackoverflow.com/questions/29561075/aem-inserts-html-info-comment-into-jsonThanks again!

Hey Scott,Thank you for the reply! The vlt command to check in did not work, I got a "Root directory must provide a repository url file" when I went into the appropriate directory /ui.content/src/main/content/jcr_root directory and tried to run it. Potentially the AEM Eclipse plugin did not create/download it with my imported project.BUT I got it to work based on your suggestion of using vlt. You set me on the right path so thank you! In the end I used the import command in the above directory.v...
