Hi there. Just a quick note that the link to 'get the latest version' on
this landing page (adobe.ly/aahealth)is broken. I get a 'page isn't
working error' when I click the 'get latest version' and go to href =
https://shared-assets.adobe.com/link/9549dbe7-765a-4899-77b8-85cbba1a4252
They all wee helpful in a round about way. However, I am not sure any
particular one was better than the others. They helped me confirm that I
had a few choices, neither was perfect, I now know the pros and cons.
@KristiB1/ @vibhatna Thanks for coming back to me on this. I spoke to
Jen Lasser (Adobe's Analytics Product Manager) about this week and her
understanding (as per the documentation) is that if you are starting
fresh you should not have a direct or session refresh (as per the
documentation). I guess it does make sense that direct is not
technically a "marketing" channel. I guess that is one way of looking at
it.
+1 to this. Having recently tried to set up Marketing Channels for a new
Adobe client, the documentation and admin console are out of date and
confusing. Trying to explain how it works to new users is really
difficult.
Would this method work if the URLs within a prop are NOT exact matches?
For example, if a URL with in a prop contained query parameters at the
end of the URL, would it still classify?
