Re: LC 8.2.1.3/JBoss and SQL Server 2008 R2 - Adobe LiveCycle 16-05-2011
Soory, I am facing the problem that even if I downgrade the SQL Server 2008 R2 to SQL Sever 2008, the DB validation failed message still exists. Is there any way to tackle this problem. Thank you.

Re: Web Service Problems in ES2 - Adobe LiveCycle 22-09-2010
Upon further review (I sound like an NFL referee), I see that your wsdl is incorrect ...you have not replcaed the server part with the name of your server. I woudl do that copy and paste of the wsdl from the start point like I mentioned earlier.paul

Re: Adding Rows and Data in Table Problem - Adobe LiveCycle 06-08-2010
Paul,Thank you again for your help. I have outlined your fix below.Originally I was trying to do .addItem to the table, not thinking that it was used for added to a drop down or list. What Paul found was that I should have been using .rawValue instead. Once I tested tried it everything worked fine!Paul saves the day again! Thanks,John

Re: XML Data in Text Field Issue - Adobe LiveCycle 12-05-2010
Paul,Here is what I was trying to do. I tested it in the exit event of my dropdown list and it worked perfect. It returned the subordinate node placement in the xml.-------------Begin Code --------------//Parse my xml from the text field.var myXML = XMLData.parse(topmostSubform.Page1.subformStatChngForm.subformEmployeeData.subformEmplChanges.txtXMLString.rawValue, false);//Since I already stored the node length in another field on the initialize event of my subform I was able to use that for the...

Re: Parse XML in Workbench Issue - Adobe LiveCycle 06-05-2010
I was able to get this parsed out correctly. I stumbled upon this posting: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/439258. I had to add a couple of things to mine but it worked perfect like they had it in that posting! Thanks!

Re: PDF plugin problem - Adobe LiveCycle 14-07-2010
Hi John,as it turned out, there is a setting in IE where you can enable/disable ActiveX plugins. I do NOT refer to the overall ActiveX settings, but the "Manage AddOns" option in the settings dialog. There, each specific addon can be disabled/enabled separately. With some versions of Reader 9 there seemed to be a problem that (for unknown reasons) the Reader plugin was in a disabled state. Maybe you can check that?Regards,Steffen.

Re: Launchpad ES2 - Logging In Issue - Adobe LiveCycle 19-07-2010
I created a custom role called LaunchPad User and provide just these roles:Repository ReadRepository TraverseRepository WriteDocument UploadPDF/G End UserThe user will also need to be a document publisher in order to see any policies for Rights Management.Peter LaBelle

Right now it is just binding. I was hoping I didn't have to parse the XML but I guess I do.John
