This doesn't work either. I am still getting the error that it can not read from "filehttp://server:8080/soap/services/getUserInfo?wsdl". Where is "filehttp" coming from? Thanks,John

Paul,I am still having an issue with the web services. It seems though that they are failing on the initialize event of my form. I normally call my web services with xfa.connectionSet.GetInfo.execute(0);. This worked in ES 8.2.1.3 but now with ES2 SP1 it's not working.Any thoughts on this? Thanks,John

Right now I have my web services and data connections in a separate Application in Workbench. Do you suggest that they remain there or should they be in my application that contains my form and main workflow process? Thanks,John

Does anyone know if there are any issues with JBoss and SQL Server 2008 r2? I tested connecting to a 2008 sql server in the adobe-ds.xml file and was getting errors in my server log.The version of JBoss was what came with 8.0. Would I need to update JBoss prior to being able to connect to a 2008 sql server? Thanks,John

Running LC ES2 SP1 on Windows 2008 R2 32-bit server.I have a form that has multiple web service connections to processes I created in workbench. I can connect to them fine in workbench and some of them work fine on my form. I am using the WSDL format http://server:port/soap/services/web%20services/getinfo?wsdl in the data view for the wsdl connection in designer. Most of my data connections work like this but some come up with a java error that says:GeneralError: Operation failed.XFAObject.execu...

Paul,Thank you again for your help. I have outlined your fix below.Originally I was trying to do .addItem to the table, not thinking that it was used for added to a drop down or list. What Paul found was that I should have been using .rawValue instead. Once I tested tried it everything worked fine!Paul saves the day again! Thanks,John

I have a table that is needs to be populated with xml data. The number of rows can change based on a selection in a drop down. I can get the table to create the correct number of rows based on the node count from a text field that contains xml data. Below is what I am trying to do.1. User selects a manager from a dropdown list. The dropdown list is populated from a webservice and uses the manager's id# as an index value.2. Based on the selection in the dropdown, the manager id# is passed to an i...

I am using Query Multiple Rows as XML to call a stored procedure that returns a list of employees (below is the exact XML structure). I need to extract out the full_name from the XML on all nodes an return that through a data connection into my form for a drop down. Right now all I can do is create one huge string with the names. I tried using concat but I can't append a new line character into concat.---------- Begin XML Structure -------------------- 123456 John Public Q John Public, John jp...

Srini,I had to modify what you sent me and it worked perfect! Thank you! Where did you find out this? I have looked through all sorts of documentation on XFA and Javascript and haven't seen this. Here is what I ended up with:subGroupData.tblComments.resolveNode("rowGroupData[" + rowIndex + "]").rowEmplName.rawValue = $.strFullName.rawValue;I just needed to remove the asterisks. Thanks!John

I can access the nodes but what I need to do is when a user makes a selection in the dropdown list and selects an employee's name, I need to get the rest of the data from the node associated with that employee. If I could get the number of the node that is selected when the user selects the employee then I can work it out from there, but I can't seem to.Thanks,John

I must be missing something somewhere becuause I couldn't get it to work. Here is the xml that I am getting back when I invoke the CFC from within Workbench. This data is assigned to an XML type varialbe called 'xmlOutput'. I then create a data connection in my form to the service I created in Workbench and bind the return data to a text field (with multiple lines).
