Re: addInstance with hidden form - Adobe LiveCycle 26-11-2008
By design: instanceManager.addInstance(1); adds the original state of that component! Therefore:The reason is that the new instance is also hidden - Make it visible!

Re: Transparent Rectangle/ Fade everythin back - Adobe LiveCycle 25-11-2008
kind of like the Flex effect....Um.. i havn't too date come across anything "built in" that does that. You would definatly have to make a custom component/layer!IDEA 1: Have you played with a transparent image, put on a new subformIDEA 2: you could make everything invisible, with a nice grey'd out textured background effect.

Re: Javascript to Open Outlook - Adobe LiveCycle 25-11-2008
Amax... if you want any exiciting things to happen with the PDF document.. then reader extend to enable the functionality.use a reader extended pdf to make a webservice call or something like that.Or you can use a submit button to send the data as XML / URL post!

Re: How to troubleshoot a web service query - Adobe LiveCycle 12-11-2008
document literal, google that - but chances are, your xml is document literal - dont spend too much time on that.Yes i have a PDF making webservice calls.-> Quick and Short1) put drop-down on empty dynamic pdf form2) create dataconnection to webservice (that returns a list)3) Enable "Show Dynamic Properties"4) On the drop-down - OBJECT-binding tab - Click "Specify Item Values"5) Select data connection6) For Items: make sure it ends with [*]EG: connectionData.dcSchemes.Body.SchemesResponse.Scheme...

Re: How to drawback the submitted data from server? - Adobe LiveCycle 12-11-2008
If its an "offline" form:1) Create a webservice on your server that will return xml data based on an input parameter2) Create a dataconnection in your form that connects to the webservice and gets the data
