Looping through xml nodes with Javascript - Adobe LiveCycle 10-08-2016
Hello,I need to loop trough an xml file and look for a certain fieldname(otherAddresses). There are about 6 fields named otherAddresses and each of them has a field named "PublishingTypeID". Now, depending on the value of PublishingTypeID, I have to select that specific OtherAddresses field and get the value from it's Childfields. So, for example. If otherAddresses.publishingTypeID has a value of 2, I have to get the value of otherAddresses.lastName from that specific otherAddresses field. The ima...

Re: Data bindings are lost when adding multiple fragments to a form - Adobe LiveCycle 04-12-2015
Ok, so I discovered something essential but still can't seem to find a solution. The reason why only the first two fragments have data bindings and the third one doesn't is because of this the xml file: The first fragment gathers the data from the first instance of "PublishingSubRequest" in the XML, the second fragment from the second instance but there isn't a third one, hence the lack of databindings from the third. The databindings in the fragments are bound by $.publishingSubRequest[*], using ...

Data bindings are lost when adding multiple fragments to a form - Adobe LiveCycle 30-11-2015
Hello,I have a document that I made up out of separate fragments. Now, the first two fragments that I add work as they are supposed to, but the third one I add loses it's databindings. It only loses the databindings that are made using the ALD interface, the bindings that have been added with conditions (through Javascript) remain. They are added like these: vPlanTypeIndicator = $data.resolveNode("publishingBatch.publishingSubRequest.functionalData.contract.publishingData.planTypeIndicator").valu...

Re: How do I make a subform dynamic so that a textfield which is empty will be considered non-existing. - Adobe LiveCycle 26-11-2015
I used something similar (by building it in the action builder) but it works !It's something like this: ((this.resolveNode("$").rawValue == null || this.resolveNode("$").rawValue == "")) { this.resolvenode("$").presence = "hidden";}Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

How do I make a subform dynamic so that a textfield which is empty will be considered non-existing. - Adobe LiveCycle 26-11-2015
Hello,I have the following subform:What I want to accomplish is that, when P2 and/or P3 is empty, that the space between "nrEntrepriseClient" (Ondernemingsnummer) and the text block at the bottom will be gone in PDF view. There are conditions bound to P2 and P3, so when these are not met, the field will not appear.Right now, my PDF view is the following:It's that whitespace between "Ondernemingsnummer" and the text block that I want gone. The subform is in Flowed and Western text, putting it in T...

Re: Getting value from an XML file and adding conditions to these values - Adobe LiveCycle 30-10-2015
Additional info: The "N° de Chassis" or "N° de Serie" will appear in the left box of the text field. The right field will be filled in using a binding.

Getting value from an XML file and adding conditions to these values - Adobe LiveCycle 30-10-2015
Hello,I'm trying to get the value from an xml file and then adding conditions to those values. The code I have goes something like this:for some reason, it is not getting the value. If the value of the field "vehiclOfNonVehiclFlag" is V, then "N° de chassis: " should appear in the "nrSerieChassisTextField" field. If it's "N", then N° de serie should appear in the "nrSerieChassisTextField" field. Now the field just remains empty and I have no idea how to resolve this. Here is a snap from the XML fi...
