Re: 'Unspecified' in visitor id report - Adobe Analytics 24-10-2018
Hi Kamaldeep, This happens in scenario where the user comes on the website for first time and leaves after seeing just 1 page , on the very first hit there is no value for visitorID as thats the time the visitorID is assigned. Hope this helps. Regards,Mody

Re: Breakdown tracking code by entry pages, why there are more pages than expected - Adobe Analytics 20-08-2018
Tracking Code has an expiry [ How long a value gets credit ] typically set to 30 days. So after clicking through the campaign for next 30 days even if the user visits directly the entry page is treated as part of the latest tracking code value. If you want to see data of only the campaign click-through visit then build the following segment Show : VisitAdd a Container [ Hit ] In segment definition - Clickthrough exists Hope this helps.

Re: Proper value for s.trackingServer - Adobe Analytics 18-01-2017
Hi Rainen , You do not need the config variables mentioned in the custom link tracking - use the following code snippet as reference In order to debug Custom Link Tracking you can use httpfox or use preserve log option in chrome to see if the request is firing or you can use any other packet analyser hope this helps, Regards,Mody

Re: "length of visit" basis for segment - Adobe Analytics 22-08-2016
Hi There are 2 kinds of calls that hit the Adobe server - 1 that increments the pageView and 1 that does not increment the pageView [ Example - Video start, video views ] In method 1 , When you are looking at Visit depth it includes only those Visits where where hits that increment the pageViews > 10 to qualify In method 2 , when you are looking at hit depth it includes all kind of calls > 10 and hence the increase in numbers of different metrics. Hope this helps. ~Mody

Re: Entries for entry page report vs entries for referring domains report do not match - Adobe Analytics 25-07-2016
No the numbers will not match. Entries metric is first recorded value of a visit for a particular variable In Entry page Entries Metric represents Pages and in case of referring domain represent first value of referring domain So Entries metric for Page will get incremented irrespective of wether source is direct or via some other domain. And Original referring domain is the value of RD in first visit which remains same for all subsequent visits. So Entries metric credit in case of ORD will go t...

Re: Maintain date range in favorited reports - Adobe Analytics 25-07-2016
Yes , first change the date range then click on Favourite and rename as for example - Pages - Last 7 days , Pages - Last 30 days etc So you will have each favourite instance retaining the date range configured before you clicked on favourite.
