Justin Klei, You are right on what I want to do. Now for what is probably a stupid question... where is the click event on the button? I don't see anything that says that. I see "control type" with radio buttons or: regular, execute, and submit. When I click to change the control type, I don't know where to enter the information you provided.I'm sorry if it is something really easy, but I'm not catching it. Thank you for your patience!!

Thanks for your help! However, that's the problem... it's not being interpreted as a link. Here is a sample of what I am putting in the PDF form:http://thehub/sites/Legal/... (I did not put the full link here on the board) Also, I don't know what a floating field is. I've had to teach myself how to use this product, so there is no one for me to ask. Thanks again!

Hi!I've been going through the message boards and I am not finding my answer. I have created a form utilizing LiveCycle. I have made the form so that it can be fillable via Reader Extended PDF. I need to be able to put a link in a text field that the next user can just click on it, and it will take them to a document in SharePoint for review. I've tried changing the text field to rich text in LiveCycle, but the steps to add the link in the PDF is too lengthly and not friendly. Once I finally get...

We have an interactive form that I created, and often times there are files that need to accompany the form. I saw that there is a way to extend the ability to attach a file in Reader Enabled, but I cannot figure out how to do it. It looks as if it is an "add-on" and not being an IT person, I'm not sure exactly what that means. Does that mean that we would need to pay for an additional service to make that function available?Thank you for any help that you can give me.

Sorry, I don't know about a script. I am not an IT person. I've had to teach myself how to use it. All I know is that in the old versions... for me to enable usage rights for folks with Reader, I had to open the form in Adobe Pro (after creating it in LC), and enable the rights there. Now, with the version I have... I cannot find that function in Adobe X. So, when I update a form that I made before I received the upgrade, they will not work with Reader. Any form I've created with the newer versi...

Has anyone run into the situation where updates have been made in a form that was originally created in an older version of LC with a newer version not enabling the usage rights for Reader? I have a form that I created that was done in an older version, and I recently needed to make updates to it, and I now have Adobe Pro X. Anyone who has Adobe Standard or higher can access the form and fill it out, but if someone only has Reader, they really cannot do anything with it. It has created a problem...

It is not working. It is no longer giving me any value. Bummer. Any other ideas? Could it be because I have the Display Pattern as a with a dollar sign? I'm thinking not, but hey, just checking.

Okay, Paul, I have another question... I'm not even sure that it is possible.Do you know how to force a positive result? Here is my example of what I am trying to say:Value A: $1.00 minus Value B $1.10 equals -$0.10 (this comes out to a negative, but I need to just show it as a dollar amount not as a negative)Not all situations will result in a negative number - so I need to always just show it as a dollar figure regardless of positive or negative.

Thanks for all of the help! I really appreciate. In the Hierarchy, select the radio buttons that I want, and right click and select wrap in new radio button group. That worked perfectly!!

I have two sets of radio buttons that I want to be independent of each other. How do I do that? Just to be clear... I have one set with two buttons. The second set has six buttons. They are independent of each other - they just happen to fall in line one right after the other. LiveCycle keeps putting them together. I have very limited knowledge and am learning as I go. Thanks for any help that you can give me.

I have a list of six radio buttons that I need to include a text field. When I force the field into the group, it separates the list into two sections. How do I add a text field in the midst of the radio buttons, but still have them all in one list? The weird thing is I did it somehow on another list, and I cannot figure out how I did it. It was purely by accident. Even when I try to copy and paste the one that does work, it doesn't stay with the new paste.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
