ok, the total makes sense since its above 3000 then it will show however anyway to get rid of zero records? I would only want to see records if they are 3000 or greater

Is there a way for the total to match the visits >= 3000 and to remove the 0 records from the table?

I was reading the below page and it seemed like you can just replace your existing data layer with the contextHub tool and utilize the polling function to always listen for changes. Seemed like a cool advanced version of a data layer.Data Layer Management Using the ContextHub Tool

Does anyone know if code can be minified in DTM. I have a bunch of plugins that load on page load and wanted to see about minifying them for smaller page load footprint.

Hi All,I was reading over the documentation on the ContextHub Tool and it seems like it would be a great tool for use as a generic data layer but had some questions that wasn't in the documentation. Questions:The data element monitor polls for the values. Will page load time be affected? Is anyone using ContextHub Tool for Data Layer and have you seen any issues?Thank you,Scott

Hi Jantzen, thanks for your help. For anyone else I finally found the descriptions.Last Question: How is the event based rule for download link different than the Adobe Analytics tool - Link tracking for Download Extensions. Also same question for Outbound Link? Just seems redundant to have both but I assume there was a reason behind it? I just want to ensure we have the most thought-out DTM installation possible.

Hi All,I have been debating the use of global variables in DTM but wanted some concrete answers.Questions:Should DTM admins use the global variables section to set variables that will be used globally versus just adding it as a page load rule. What are some pros and cons. Is there page load savings or merely organizational? What exactly does the server area used for and do? Does it have a use case?Dynamic variable prefix, what exactly is this doing and how to setup and again what are some use cas...

Hi All,I noticed that when you create a new property in DTM that you get some out-of-the-box EBR's and they are inactive and tracking is disabled..Question: Are these out-of-the-box EBR's of any use and is there documentation on usage? Why is tracking disabled? If I don't use these, can I just delete them? I just want to make sure I don't mess anything up if I delete them. I assume since they have been inactive for over a year and tracking has been disabled for a year as well that we don't care t...

Hi Jantzen,I’ll try and answer your questions the best I can. 1. I assume there is nothing wrong with the page load rule and all beacons are fired with the expected variablesCorrect. There’s 1 Form that has errors on a confirmation page, but the other’s work without errors. 1. I'm guessing this is where we sometimes have the issue. You indicated the forum is inside an iFrame. Typically, we can work with iFrames, but sometimes they complicate things. Most of the forms show a modal box with and ifr...

You Can use a calculated metric.I wanted to be able to show traffic averages for our campaigns so I use the below:Created baseline for each traffic metric2. output in line graph. Helps to quickly show performance a little easier compared to average.3. I also created low, mid and high target goals using calculated metrics using static numbers which is super helpful for campaign managers to measure successhope this was helpful- Scott

Hi,Yes, I am using DTM. I am also using a event based rule to fire a completion event and a direct call rule to fire a form submit. the adobe submits are higher on Jun 3 and 4 because I turned off event serialization however there are email records that don't show up in adobe submits / completions that are in pardot. I think maybe pardot is firing too fast and 30-40% of the time adobe is too slow to react. Is there a way to setup some kind of adobe dtm callback so that we can wait for adobe to d...

Hi All,I have never had this issue before with normal forms however with trying to track form submits and even form completions from Salesforce Pardot forms Adobe analytics is always counting less form submits/completions then the Pardot platform. It is always very random sometimes 4% lower form submits then Pardot but can be as high as 50-60% at times. The higher the total the bigger the discrepancy between the 2 platforms however Pardot always has more submits (and they are valid because they ...

In one of the Adobe Launch sessions at Summit 2017 they had showed off an excel macro workbook that I believe was using the API to populate props, evars, data elements and active/not active status. I thought they said they would share it out and to make sure you have macro rights but I never found or was given a link to where I could download it.Would anyone know where I can get it as it was a very awesome excel workbook that would help us immensely with our tag audit .Thank you in advance for a...

I am new to event serialization and could use some helpful tips from the community.I read that to implement event serialization, just provide a unique ID for the event, for example event1:1234ABCD.Question 1: So can I use an evar as a unique ID that captures the orderID(evar49) from the page?Would the code for the custom page code section look like this: s.events="event6:"evar49Question 2: Also, can I write custom javascript to capture the sessionID from the url or maybe the orderID from the DOM...

yes, to confirm, each page gets its own value of the URL for the prop and evar. question: how do I look into the possible issue with the allocation being the cause? Thanks again for any help,Scott

thanks for your response on this topic and the great example. Also, some context behind why I ask about these things is because someone asked in a meeting and I could not clearly explain.I am still a little confused, I understand that the evar persists therefore will pass the data to the next page and at times have more traffic metrics than props however, if the same pages have a page url prop and evar shouldn't the page views be the same? The visits metric matches exactly with page url prop and...

Hi All,I am looking for a simple way to help campaign managers use the Adobe Workspace tool however they get really confused when trying to figure out when to use props versus evars. Some items I got stuck on and couldn't correctly answer was the small data discrepa...
