Re: Technical Advisory: DTM/Launch in China brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
@John_Man - as of today we don't have a time estimate on when new embed codes would be avialable with the .cn domain, but will post here as soon as we do. If I had to give it my best guess, I would say it's still a few months out so I do think the self-hosting option is a good short-term approach.

Technical Advisory: DTM/Launch in China brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Technical Advisory: To All DTM/Launch Customers Serving Libraries inside Mainland China Notification of Service ChangeEarlier this year, there was a degradation in the performance of our service in Mainland China affecting the domain adobedtm.com. To address the performance issues and comply with new regulations, Adobe has created an entirely new domain (adoberesources.cn). The Adobe Launch product and engineering teams are working on providing new environment embed codes using this domain withi...

Re: Add the ability to have metadata for the Launch property, Rules, DataElements, Extension brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
I think this might be a duplicate of this idea;: Bring back notes But to add a comment here. The ability to add notes to certain entites (similar to what DTM had) is coming soon. Because Launch is API-first these have already been released in the API and are documetned here: Adobe Experience Platform Launch. Next up is to add support in the UI.

Re: Regarding JWT Expiration brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
JWT or JSON Web Tokens are an open standard, so most people are using a standard or open source library along with their private key to programmatically generate a JWT tokens locally (like these here: https://jwt.io/) They then use their own generated JWT token to authenticate with adobe.io and exchange it for an API access token to use in subsequent calls.More info: auth-methods

Re: Migration to Launch brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
In addition to the help from Andrey, you can also select a "Working Library" in the top right corner once you have createed at least one. Once selected, all changes for your login account will be automatically added to that DEVELOPMENT library without having to create a new one in publishing everytime. When ready to promote to Staging and Production you will have to go through the publishing workflow.

Sorry to hear that. Can you provide more details about what specifically was not working? You may also want to consider trying the GTag extension: Google Global Site Tag (gtag)

Re: Adobe Auditor for Internal Sites of a Customer brandon_pack - Auditor by Adobe
The servers that do the scan must be able to reach the site being audited. What some customers have done is add URL parameters to something to the query string that only someone who had the link could access the site, or you can create firewall rules to whitelist the ObservePoint servers IP address to reach the internal site. Otherwise if the site cannot be made accessible, it cannot be audited.

Re: GDPR : add cookie check condition to Experience Cloud ID service Extension brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Thanks Dave - hopefully it's helpful. To answer your question, in it's current state you cannot customize or choose the cookie name if you enable storage. You can choose the domain but not select 'sat_track' at this time.

Re: GDPR : add cookie check condition to Experience Cloud ID service Extension brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
For those following this thread the new Opt-In Capabilites for the Experince Cloud JavaScript libraries were successfully released to the public yesterday. The Experince Cloud ID Service and a number of the solution libraires like Analytics, Audience Manager, Target, etc. can now be configured to supress beacons and cookies until your definition of consent has been opted-in. This can be done with raw implmentations but also has a nice UI in Launch:https://docs.adobelaunch.com/extension-reference...

Re: Load omniture library via launch breaking brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Thanks for the additional info. Version 1.7.0 of VisitorAPI.js is really old and no longer supported since we are at version 3.3.0 as of today. I would recommend upgrading to a newer library and ideally use the built in Launch Extension for "Experience Cloud ID Service." Then you can just use Launch to keep it up to date goting forward. However if your use case does not allow for that, you should still be able to create a "Custom Code" action in a Launch rule. Just choose "HTML" as your lanuage ...

Re: Load omniture library via launch breaking brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
We will probably need more information to help out on this. Info like whether you are using the built in "Experience Cloud ID Service" extension or if you are doing it manually. Also if you can provide more details like maybe a link to the property where you are seeing this and maybe the Launch propery, it would be helpful. Thanks

Re: How do I style my own extension with Coral? brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Just as a side note, Adobe is moving from Coral to a new, but similar, specification called "Spectrum" which is what the Launch UI now uses. The CSS has been open-sourced if you want to use anything from it. In the futurte JS and other components will be open-sourced as well: GitHub - adobe/spectrum-css: The standard CSS implementation of the Spectrum design language.

Re: Google gtag Issue brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Yeah this is code-complete and being tested but Adobe has a polciy to not release or change production code during the holiday when it's a very sensative time and there is less appetite for risk. So this is likely to be released the first week of January. If you are willing to test it before then, we can upload it to your org as a Private Extension and you could use it sooner. It would however mean re-creating your rules if you wanted toswitch to the public one in January and take advatange of f...

Re: Google gtag Issue brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
We are working on adding a new parameter to the gtag extension configuration view that would allow you to rename Google's dataLayer to something else so that it would not conflict. Hope to be able to get it released before too long but not exact date commitments at this point.

Re: Launch API updates | Recent releases brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
As you probably saw in the warning bar located at the link you provided, the APIs are currently in an 'alpha' state. Part of that reason for that is because we do not yet have all of the automation around keeping documentation in sync with the releases as of yet as you pointed out; although it is being developed as we speak. While the APIs are production stable and used by our own UI, we wanted to allow earlier access directly to the APIs in order to get feedback but did not want to compromise o...

Re: Integrate Launch with AEM 6.4 brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Thanks for the interest, glad you hear you are wanting to get Launch running on your AEM instance. AEM 6.3 had a native integration with DTM and 6.4 has one with Launch. If upgrading to v6.4 is not an option right now, you can contact your AEM account representative about requesting a new Feature Pack be back ported to a prior version.

Re: AEM 6.x versions compatibility with Launch brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
I believe that is correct, only 6.4 has an out-of-the box integration with Launch. 6.3 had one with DTM. However AEM is consuming the Launch APIs that are available to any external system.

Re: Can Adobe Launch Encrypt or Obfuscate Values? brandon_pack - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Not sure exactly of the specifics that you mean by running it locally, but according to their documentation it is using a 64 character SHA-265 hash (https://www.searchdiscovery.com/blog/sdi-toolkit-extension-for-launch-by-adobe/ ) which can be implemented in almost any language of your preference and even some in Excel VB Script if search for it. Haven't tried any of these but there are a number of free ones out there (ex: GitHub - Caligatio/jsSHA: A JavaScript implementation of the complete Sec...
