Reader Extending Removes Certification - Adobe LiveCycle 24-05-2012
Hi All, I am seeing an issue with LiveCycle Reader Extensions 10.0.0.0 that when I try to reader extend a certified PDF XFA Form it removes the certification. The certificate I am using is not a CDS cert so I was wondering if this is causing the issue?Kind RegardsKev

Re: Livecycle Form Paging Issue - Please Help! - Adobe LiveCycle 17-04-2012
Hi Ken, I can see that you are not using data binding and have lots of the subforms with the same name which is going to cause chaos when loading the data into the form. As a first step I would rename Subform[0] - Subform[23] to something unique.Kind RegardsKevin Mortimer Solutions Architect Avoka www.avoka.com

Re: How to prevent user to enter data in "Date/Time Field"? - Adobe LiveCycle 27-10-2011
Hi RajeshIt will work in Reader 10.1 if the compatibility is set to anything else than "Reader 10 and above" as this will use a different rendering agent. The bug only exists in XF3.3 Sorry for any confusion. Kind RegardsKev

Re: How do I lock PDF before e-mailing so that it cannot be altered by the recipient? - Adobe LiveCycle 26-10-2011
Hi Steve, I can see 2 possible options for you to investigate, 1) Submit the form to a LiveCycle process and let LiveCycle Output turn the PDF into a PDFA and then email the second recipient. if you don't have a LiveCycle Output server 2) Remove the second submit button and add a signature field which can lock the entire PDF.. once signed the PDF can be email directly from Reader/Acrobat using the File>Attach To Email One thing to remember is that anything that can achieved through script can al...

Re: Launching URL in new page from form hyperlink - Adobe LiveCycle 26-10-2011
Hi dbjackieThere are 2 choices for you 1) Use the Hyperlink function in a text object as this enables you to navigate to the file of your choice. note: this will only work for pdf's that have the compatibility set to Reader 9 and aboveIf you can;t insist on Reader 9 then 2) create a web server that points to the I drive and you should be able to use app.launchURL as before.Kind RegardsKevin MortimerSolutions Architect Avoka www.avoka.com

Re: How to prevent user to enter data in "Date/Time Field"? - Adobe LiveCycle 26-10-2011
Hi All, Please note this worn't work in XFA 3.3 (Reader 10.1) as there is a bug that restricts the change event from being overwritten. http://forums.adobe.com/message/3956926#3956926Kind RegardsKevSolutions Architect Avoka
