Re: LiveCycle Workbench ES2 - "Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working" Error - Adobe LiveCycle 18-01-2010
Please try to uninstall only "Groove 2007" (not all of Office 2007); it should solve the problem.

Re: LiveCycle Workbench ES2 - "Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working" Error - Adobe LiveCycle 12-01-2010
HiYes, I can't say for sure; but several experiments conducted prompt me to conclude this way until I find it otherwise My environment was Win Vista Ultimate 64bit; Office 2007 Pro, Ultimate, Enterprise (all gave the same problem).I would like to know any other ways to make it work in my environment. I certainly want to try and make it work. I am open for any suggestions. The way you packaged the trial version for Linux (using VMware virtual machine), can you package the trial version for Windows...

Re: Workbench ES2 crashes on x64 Vista and Windows 7 - Adobe LiveCycle 08-01-2010
Hi Wim,Thank you. That was the best summary of the issue.I just finished reinstalling the whole LC ES suite AFTER removing Office 2007.It is working perfectly. Now we need to figure out how to have 'some' office suite on this machine.Did you try Office 2003?If not, we have to install Open Office or Star Office?I can't thank you enough for sharing the "clue" [Office 2007 is 'the' cause]Best Regards!

Re: Workbench ES2 crashes on x64 Vista and Windows 7 - Adobe LiveCycle 07-01-2010
HiI think I have exactly the same problem as you described.please see my post:http://forums.adobe.com/thread/551652?tstart=0Assumiong that Office 2007 Enterprise is creating this problem, we can try uninstalling it temporarily.I think we ned to understand what exactly is getting invoked when we double click the "process" or try to create a new process in Workbench. And why is it related to Java SE binary. As stated in my above post, these products use different versions of JRE (javaw.exe); do we ...

Re: LiveCycle Workbench ES2 - "Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working" Error - Adobe LiveCycle 07-01-2010
Here is some additional information that may be helpful in identifying the cause for this problem. Here is the Exact ERROR :Java (TM) Platform SE binary has stopped workingA problem caused the program to stop working correctly.Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.Button: "Close Program".On clicking that button, the error window goes away; the main LC WB ES2 program also closes; but a long error window appears. The full screenshot was attached in my original mes...

Hi,I am getting this error when I try to create a new process o open an existing process."Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working"The only option is to click on a "Close" button and end the LC Workbench ES2 program. Also, when I try to open an existing form, it displays 'garbage' - a screenfull of control unrecognizable characters - instead of the form itself. When this error comes up, I also get a pop-up window with a list of log entries / errors (please see attached: Java Platform SE bin...
