Re: Allow comments and editing on reader extended PDF? - Adobe LiveCycle 07-01-2014
Thank you, we will determine path forward on how to deal with issue since it's not overcome-able with Designer and LC server is not an option for us. Appreciate the clarification, thanks!

Re: Allow comments and editing on reader extended PDF? - Adobe LiveCycle 04-01-2014
Thank you, I am not sure how to answer. Am not seeing where to do that in LiveCycle, though when I am in AdobeX pro looking at the form and trying to save as reader extended, it tells me it already is. Before we upgraded and I was using LC 8.2, I recall doing it there before distributing, but if you could tell me the proper way to do that, it would be great. They are using pro, not reader.

Allow comments and editing on reader extended PDF? - Adobe LiveCycle 04-01-2014
My LiveCycle version is 9 and those who will be using the form have AdobeX pro. The form is static PDF, reader extensions enabled. When it's opened in Adobe, users are unable to make comments, modify text or add pages. Is there a way for them to to that besides printing to the Adobe printer? Am needing to use the best of both worlds - using some javascript functionality in the form to enhance the drop-downs and other features, but those completing the form may have to make minor adjustments in t...

Re: Best Method to Create Bookmarks - Adobe LiveCycle 30-12-2013
Thank you. Newer version not possible at present, and will check on it's availability to us for future. In the meantime, will do some testing with the macros and if no luck, for now will manually create the bookmarks in PDF after the form has been completed, tested, etc., and ready for use. Thanks so much for this info.

Best Method to Create Bookmarks - Adobe LiveCycle 27-12-2013
I am converting a 70+ page contract template to LiveCycle Designer 9.0.0.2 and would like to accomplish creating permanent bookmarks when the users open the form in Adobe. Using info from this link, http://forums.adobe.com/message/4013698, I'm able to set the initial view to open showing bookmarks panel. Right now, am still finishing the master form, so when I re-open it in LiveCycle, this setting goes away. Once am finished with form, will re-set the initial view. Same with bookmarks. I can cre...

Re: How to flow text across multiple pages in 9 - Adobe LiveCycle 27-11-2013
Thank you, wow, that is exactly what I'm looking for. Tested it and the default value only held about 6 of my 10 pages. Except for this restriction, that's what I was trying to do. Any way to expand the default to hold all the pages? If not, I can split out the document, it will still be easier to maintain in the future when this section is revised. Thanks.

How to flow text across multiple pages in 9 - Adobe LiveCycle 27-11-2013
My form is lengthy, and one Master Page section will be text with no form fields, but the text is 10+ pages, depending on the version of terms and conditions provided. In this link, http://forums.adobe.com/message/5112687, there is much discussion on how to accomplish in 8.2, but how would I accomplish in 9? I would like to be able to paste the 10+ pages and have it automatically flow for that Master Page section. Have tried placing a text field and also tried a text into a flowable subform, set...

Re: Restart Page x of y for document sections - Adobe LiveCycle 25-09-2013
Found this link that is promising, but not sure where to put the code mentioned. Have tried replacing the code that was on the # sign in the numbering field, but it's giving me a blank result for page number. I've got all the master pages set up and it will be worth it to get this part right, but just don't know how.http://forums.adobe.com/message/4616697Also have been trying to work with info from this link, http://forums.adobe.com/message/4093037, but same result - blank results. Would appreci...
