There is a way to run the Windows version, however. Install a virtual machine on your mac and run LCD from that. I have it running right now using VMWare Fusion on Windows 7 64-bit (in Unity mode so the programs act/look native to Mac OS) just dandy. I've attached a screenshot.

I received the form. It appears you have not extended reader rights using Acrobat. To do so, after saving in LiveCycle, open in Acrobat and under the Advanced Menu, select "Extend Features in Adobe Reader" to allow the user to save the data. I was able to use the drop down menus and add and remove sections just fine.What other problems are you having?

Preview allows saving the data, however does not support interactive or dynamic forms.

I have confirmed that Adobe's Reader for Mac handles interactive and dynamic forms well. Make sure the software is updated to the latest to be sure (9.3.3).

Do you know the program being used to view the PDFs? Apple's standard PDF viewer "Preview" will not handle the interactive or dynamic forms. You must use Adobe's software.

When working with multiple pages, the page identifier must be added before the field name. For example, "Page2.TotalMilIncom"

Does your script look similar to this and did you select the JavaScript option for the language?xfa.host.messageBox("This is a message. \nThis is a new paragraph. \n\nHere is a new paragraph with two spaces.", "This is a title", 3, 0);

Nothing special, but I entered this into the list box initialize script as FormCalc (the .225 was the standard height for each list item for me, depending on font and size, you can play around):this.h = ListBox1.length*.225

I tried and that works well, although, once you're on the last row, how would you get to the next field?

Ahhh...that's a good question. The only thing I can think of is to count the rows/instances and write some IF statements. Hopefully the real pros can help...

Also, to be consistent, make sure your tabbing order is in line with the scripts.

Try this: in Acrobat, go to Forms: Manage Form Data: Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet.This will give you one row for each file and a column for each data field.

To force uppercase, enter the following in the change event as JavaScript (make sure JavaScipt is selected in the language dropdown list at the top right):xfa.event.change = xfa.event.change.toUpperCase();As you can see in the picture, there are many palettes available on the right side to edit fields. Hope this helps.

Fields can be edited by right-clicking on the field and using the many palettes available. Also, if you go to the windows menu you can open the palettes from there. You can then edit the layout, object properties, bindings, all kinds of stuff. I can post a pic when I return to my desk if you wish.

Acrobat can only edit fields in forms created by Acrobat. It cannot edit fields from forms created in LiveCycle.LiveCycle can edit fields in forms created in both Acrobat and LiveCycle.
