I can't edit it in Adobe Acrobat X (it gives me an error message saying I have to edit it in LiveCycle Designer), but when I try to use the new LiveCycle Designer ES4 program the function for editing text is grayed out.Please help!

How do I edit text (not from fields) in forms / documents I created in LiveCycle designer?  I cant edit in Acrobat X or DC as it gives me an error stating that I have to edit the document in LiveCycle, but when I try to edit in LiveCycle the function for editing text is grayed out???
