Can you be more specific? It's been a while since I tried this, but I, too, have wished for anchors on navto: links. Can you describe what you were doing that didn't work and what did?

We're using the gesture API to prevent the chrome navigation bar from auto show-hiding, and have built our own top navigation bar. Because we have our own top navigation bar, we've also disabled the tap-to-show on the navigation bar.However, if you use Android's app switch button to change apps, and then switch back to the AEM Mobile app, the native navigation bar is now visible, but does not autohide. Tapping is disabled, so it effectively never goes away.This does not happen on iOS.Making matt...

I owe you $0.01!!! We checked "full image" (even though that was the default) and sure enough, the banner and cards are now scaling correctly on the android device. Thanks so much for the tip. Saved us a ton of work and we can stay in-budget on this project.A few additional thoughts for those running into similar issues:1. davidhicks_dps has some really good suggestions listed above to fine-tune the cards so that they have a better appearance on Android. If simply choosing the "full image" optio...

On iPhone, videos always play full screen. On iPad, however, you can get them to play inline. This is an iOS limitation, not a DPS limitation.If you want to hide the play button, you can do something fancy with your css like this:video::-webkit-media-controls { display:none !important;}

You are correct."Limit for number of items in a collectionIn order to optimize performance, a new limit of 450 items (articles, banners, and collections) per collection is now in place."From: New features in 2015.8 (December 18, 2015)See here: History of new feature notes for AEM Mobile releases

You could achieve this with HTML localStorage. Here's an example:In article A with the navto link to article B: Click me function navtoHandler(strNavToUrl, strCustomParam) { // sets the parameter for "param1" in HTML localStorage localStorage.setItem('param1', strCustomParam); // redirect the window using the navto window.location.href = 'navto://' + strNavToUrl; } In article B (with article name 'xxarticlenamexx'): // wait until the DOM is ready $(document).ready(function() { // makes sure that the code is loaded everytime and not cached in iOS window.onAppear = function() { if (localStorage.getItem('param1') === null || localStorage.getItem('param1') === '') { // the "param1" is empty, should ignore } else { // there is a value for "pa...

indeed, android is pulling older versions of the shared resources although the actual shared-resource is linked with the article-upload correctly.on ios everything works as expected.... $sharedContUrl = $oDpsShared->getContentUrl();$articleObj->linkSharedContent($sharedContUrl, 'shared');...we get arround this issue by placing a uniqe timestamp for each collection with the assets calls ( e.g ../shared/main.css?1454662533 ).this will cause android to deliver the latest shared-resource.

Hi jerwarrenI sign the app with signing tool v3.0.0 and the latest version is v3.0.1... I don't think is this the problem, but thank you for your interest, if I don't discover any more in a few days I will sign the app with the new version.

One workaround you could do:Using the gesture API, you can disable all gestures, and listen for the swipe yourself. Then stop the video, then hand it back to DPS to let the article change happen.Last time i tried using the gesture api like this for swiping, though, it introduced some weird content refresh behavior. If you want to try it, you can do it like this: adobeDPS.Gesture.disableNavigation(); $('.content').on('swipe',function() { [code to stop the media playing] adobeDPS.Gesture.relinquis...

Is there any kind of timeline on when we can expect custom protocol link support so that we can support oauth (and other 3-legged auth) mechanisms?Are there any recommended workarounds?

I submitted another version a month or two after this build and got it approved. So they’re definitely inconsistent.

I'm checking at article display time whether the device is online or not to determine whether the streaming audio/video content I've included should be displayed.This works great on iOS, but doesn't work at all on Android.This DOES work on Android in browsers, just not in DPS2015.Example:window.addEventListener("offline", function(e) { console.log("offline"); });window.addEventListener("online", function(e) { console.log("online"); });Neither of these will fire in DPS Android.

Way back during the 2015 beta, I was using document.hasFocus to determine which of the loaded articles was actually being looked at. I used this to trigger an animation when an article came into view.This no longer works, and it appears to be functioning differently between Android and iOS.On iOS, document.hasFocus() is false until the article has SWIPED into view. If you open a single article, document.hasFocus() returns false until you swipe to another article and then back. However, after thi...

jerwarren,yeah, this one is a bit odd and beyond me i'm afraid. the templates and depend files are all housed on the client's (our) hosting service so i assume it makes a request to either the adobe or studio mercury servers and expects some sort of reply that never comes... Possibly looking for updates... we had an "issue" open on studio mercury's gethub site for about a month with no response or action as far as i could tell.

Hi,By uploading, did you mean creating the article entity or uploading the .article content to the article entity or both?If creating article entity, as jerwarren mentioned, the articleName is unique. If attempting to create an article entity with the same articleName, then it will fail and you'll have to check the response code for a HTTP 409 (see getResponse()). The script will not force quit from this error because it has other uses, such as a trigger to switch to an entity update.The ingesti...
