Re: Link to Database - Adobe LiveCycle 10-08-2012
I set the data connection up and added the buttons, just as it was suggested in the link you provided. However, I have a couple more questions. Is it possible for someone who does not have this same data connection to view and update this form?I would also like to be able to add a filter to this form, so that each technician can filter on his or her name and view only records pertinent to them. What would be the best way to accomplish that?Thank you,Diane

Link to Database - Adobe LiveCycle 09-08-2012
Is it possible to link a LiveCycle form directly to an Access database? I would like to create a form in LiveCycle Designer that will pull data out of a query I have set up in Access. Then I would send that form out to my technicians - all around the country. The technicians would fill the form out and then e-mail it back to me, and I could click a button to update the Access database with the new data in the form. Is all this possible? If so, what steps do I need to take to make it work?

LiveCycle ES 9.1 - Adobe LiveCycle 05-01-2012
I just have a couple questions for anyone who might have the answer. My PC Resources Department recently received the software and links to install LiveCycle ES 9.1. However, they did not receive any instructions on how the software was to be loaded. The person at my company who knew all about this software left the company about a year ago. Also, I asked them specifically about the Reader Extensions part of LiveCycle ES and they could not find a file with that specific name on it. My questions ...

Link Excel Chart to Form - Adobe LiveCycle 17-11-2011
Is there a way to display an Excel chart in a Live Cycle form that is linked to Excel (so that when the chart is updated in Excel, it will also be udpated in the form)? I would like to create a presentation in Live Cycle that contains various Excel dashboards. However, I would like to avoid the need to copy and paste the charts into the form every time they get updated.

Re: Send Information from a Form to a Database - Adobe LiveCycle 14-11-2011
My users would be using the free Adobe Reader. My PC Resources department is currently working to get me access to LC Reader Extensions (I believe version 9.?). I understand that my users would not be able to fully utilize the form until I got the Reader Extnesions, but what do I need to do to get this set up (so when I do get access, I can roll the form out).

Send Information from a Form to a Database - Adobe LiveCycle 14-11-2011
Is there a way to send certain pieces of form data to fields in an Access Database? I have a form that salesmen fill out to let us know when an order needs changed. I would like to set that form up, so that the people changing the orders can just click a button and the form data will automatically move to the database - thus reducing the amount of manual entry into the database. Can this be done? If so, what do I need to do in order to accomplish this?

Pull Information from the Web - Adobe LiveCycle 25-10-2011
Is there a way to set up a LiveCycle form, so that it will pull information directly from a web-based ordering system? Our salesmen have to enter information into the on-line ordering system and then fill out the contractual documents. I would like to get it set up, so that the form will pull the customer information off of the ordering system, instead of the salesman having to re-enter the information. Is this possible? If so, what do I need to do to accomplish it?

Re: Copy from Excel - Adobe LiveCycle 03-10-2011
Just using a copy and paste would be perfect. How can I get that set up? Every time I try to paste the information, it just puts it all in one field, instead of the whole table. Thank you
