Hi @nowackem, sorry that I did not respond to this earlier. Real life and work did take all the time I would have for things like this form.I did attempt to implement your logic. At first it looked as if I was succesful but then I realized that on the following sections I did get the wrong sums, the dependencies between the various sections and sums proofed a bit more complex than I had thought initially. So far I have no solution for you that fits into this form. And at the moment I do not have ...

If you are using Dynamic XFA strictly to merge content (i.e. XML that is provided from the server), you can flatten the PDF before it gets to the end user. LiveCycle (AEM) Server and iText XFA Worker can do this.

At this link I have a sample form which may or may not be what you need. https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/track?uri=urn:aaid:scds:US:89265b19-1ffc-4903-bae1-380e012d1b59 Note: I turned field locking off for all signatures so that your approach works. You need to check if the open fields are conform with your signature policies. You basically make a copy of each signingBlock subform for every signer.I use submit by email for testing - that is the fastest to see if the logic works prior to subm...

To explain this:Adobe Designer creates XFA based PDFs. If you save them as interactive dynamic PDFs then your viewer needs a plugin to render the XFA content. Only Adobe Reader or Acrobat on Desktop provide this functionality. If you save the form as static PDF (as was suggested) you loose the dynamic behavior but the PDF can be viewed on mobile devices (or also browsers such as Chrome). The message you see is a bit misleading, it comes from the times when XFA was added to Adobe Reader (version ...

@Mayank_Gandhi- The Jboss is tried starting from both windows->control panel->adminstrative tools-> services- windows service for jboss and click start (As we want to use generic ID added in logon). The jboss service status is showing started, but no log files. And yes we have 2 locator one in master and another is slave1, we are starting TCP first then starting the jboss. The AEM 6.3 setup is running fine since couple of years now already, just now want to change the generic IDs to run the jbos...

Hi @damionm9515385 🙂 you are right, this really happens the way you describe it. When I have an e-mail in the table in the subform I can click on it. When similar text is outside then no click.Interestingly, in Chrome BOTH e-mails are links when you save this as a static PDF so that browsers can open it.So in Acrobat the questions is not "why the one?" but "why not both?" 🙂I checked the XFA and there are no hints at thisGo to the Acrobat preferences and turn off the Create links from URLs - th...

I have a title bar at the top of each page, which I have set from the master page. I wanted some objects to be invisible/visible here depending on user input. Your replies suggest that this is perhaps not the best option; I have put them at the top of the main area instead, and now it works fine!

@mcmc123 The short answer to all your question is 'yes'. You can create dynamic forms, distribute it via FTP or email, and configure the submission of AEM forms workflow engine. You can even render the xdp as HTML to leverage the rendering capability on mobile devices and modern-day browsers.

If the content area on the second page starts higher than on the first page you could use 2 Master pages which have the content area and the headline matching. You can then use pagination to move to master page 2 from the second page on.

Hi @webmaster-lizta Normally pagination will do that for you automatically.Basically you have a page with flowed content - top to bottom:Then you add a dynamic table (I hard coded it with 25 rows which is like someone using the buttons to add 25 times) into that page. Because they fit on the first page you do not see the second page. That makes one pageChanging it to 50 rows, the second page is created automagically. You do not need to create a second page manually.

In a template I have to import a fragment. In this fragment I want to create several instances of a subform and for each of these I check if the number of pages of the fragment has changed as the number of instances of the subform increases. For example, if after 5 iterations the fragment from 1 page goes to 2 pages I have to hide an element that is on the first page and modify another element that is on the next page.I thought about using the master page because from here I could read the value...

Regarding the change of output format make the following changes:Set the Data pattern of your 2 date fields toand the Display pattern to the one you wish to haveChange the calculation script (if you use mine in FormCalc) toWhat this does is to use the data format of your fields to get the date values for calculation which stays fixed whereas your display format can then change because we do not use the formattedValue properties any more.
