Hi Bruno, I actually had this same problem with a client of mine. Unfortunately, the functionality is just not provided in Adobe Reader and it cannot be overridden. We used a large amount of JavaScript in the form that we created and tried a move around the functionality of Reader without any avail.

Hi Everyone, My client is required to provide accessibility functionality for Section 508 compliance. We have indicated that the screen reader precedence is Custom Text and we provide the custom text in the box below (on the Accessibility panel.) Unfortunately in Adobe Acrobat Reader and Professional, this provides a yellow "tool tip" like box that my client would not like to have visible. Is it possible to disable this feature, either within Adobe Livecycle? More specifically, can it done as an...

We would like to add a validation through our form before other scripts get implemented. Here's the workflow:User goes through and provides answers to checkbox radio buttons (user can only selection one of 3 options)The user hits a button and there is a validation that the user answered all of the questions. If the user did not answer all the questions, the form displays the questions the users did not answer in one alert box (Lists the questions by number, preferably). I found the following scr...

My client is interested in the following set up:1. A user clicks a button and it brings up a hidden text box with information in it. 2. Within the textbox, there is another button that is capable of expanding the text box and shows additional information. 3. When the user is done, the click the button again and the text reverts back to the original view. Can anyone guide me on how to set this situation up. I'm aware that it would take JS, but I'm rather elementary in the JS area. 1. What events ...

I am creating a form in Adobe Livecycle ES2 where my client would like to be able to import an amount of aggregate data before a form users fills out the form. They would like to ensure that this aggregate data is not overwritten should a user import an XML file with saved answers. Is this possible? Is there a way to export only the data capture from the end user? Is there a script that imports certain fields or protects certain data from being over written? The end users will be using Adobe Acrob...
