Can't be defined as global and a non-global field - Adobe LiveCycle 19-03-2018
I receive the above message opening this form in Acrobat. I do have a range of visible/hidden fields that contain global fields but this works on other forms like this. Can someone explain what this means or how it occurs, and a possible fix. Thanks.

Clear ghost text before PDF submitted - Adobe LiveCycle 29-01-2018
Hi, I have a form with grey ghost text in several fields. The form includes an Email Submit Button and code to 'protect' the fields on preSubmit. Is there a way to clear the ghost text from any fields that have not had any text entered before the form is submitted? Thanks.

Subform order based on date - Adobe LiveCycle 08-11-2017
Not sure if this is possible - nothing occurs to me. I have a form with an appointment list for patients - each subform will have a date field to be entered for that appointment. This list is then printed out and the clinician use them as a guide to the appointments required. What they would like is to have the list run in order based on the date. I was thinking that maybe the appointments could appear on a separate page in an order based on the date entered. Is this possible, or is there some w...

Re: Enabling Tools for Adobe Reader - Adobe LiveCycle 08-11-2017
A person completes the form and saves a copy (this saved copy has certain fields still active for another user to complete). The form includes instructional information - I've used this.presence = "hidden" in preSave so this information disappears in the saved version.

Can't be defined as global field and a non-global field - Adobe LiveCycle 07-11-2017
My form has a subform that becomes visible when 'yes' is ticked in a radio button group (there are several radio button groups and subforms). The subform appears again on a summary page - I included instances of the hidden subform in two places. I have made each field in the subform 'global' so all data appears the same in both instances of the subform. This worked fine on the first few of these forms. On the latest I received the above message and the form won't open. Can anyone tell me what th...

Re: Enabling Tools for Adobe Reader - Adobe LiveCycle 07-11-2017
That's how I tried to reader enable the form - that's when all actions in the preSave events executed.

Enabling Tools for Adobe Reader - Adobe LiveCycle 01-11-2017
I have finished a form that includes a large number of 'preSave' scripts. Once the form is 'signed' instructional information becomes hidden, and only completed fields remain. My problem is I need to save the form to enable rights for users with Adobe Reader. When I 'save as' all the information disappears. Is there any way around this? Pretty desperate for any help - thanks!!

Master Pages issues - multiple pages/sections - Adobe LiveCycle 25-09-2017
Have tried finding an answer in the forum and can't seem to sort this particular issue out. I have a form that has a front section (with 3 master pages - 1 for the front page only, and 2 others for even/odd pages) - when checkboxes are selected new subforms become visible and these subforms are repeated on a new page (different summary page with different header/footer) at the end of the document. This works and the summary page appears with subforms. The problem is if the front section goes ove...
