Hi All,When we define the metadata property name for an asset, as per my knowledge it is unique. Only one property as "Name" with value is allowed for any metadata field in crxde. For example: define dc:title. Or it can also be done using metadata Schema Editor where we can define 'Map to property'.My question is:Is there any way to define 2 different property names for a given metadata field? I have a requirement to change the existing metadata property keyword from 'X' to 'Y'.However by doing ...

Thanks. Is there any property key to define directly at node level in crxde to set it as always String and overriding default current behavior?I tried typeHint as property key but that did not work.

Regarding this mapping, I have a question. While downloading an asset from bridge, metadata property 'Copyright' for asset is sent as String[] array type. (Once I uploaded this asset in DAM, I checked metadata properties and found property named as 'dc:rights' is set as String[] type in AEM for such assets, coming from photoshop.)However AEM OOTB Copyright is defined as textfield String type: /libs/dam/content/schemaeditors/forms/default/items/tabs/items/tab2/items/col1/items/copyrightIs it a def...

Hi,I am trying to delete the existing property (Both key-value) from a node and then calling node.setProperty() to add a new property for a given node. My node has property as: "jcr:mixinTypes: mix:versionable"I randomly started getting error as: OakVersion0001: Cannot delete property on checked in node.I think when there are large no of nodes to process, the above error is frequent. I do not get this error always. In order to fix this issue, I thought to call first checkout() and then checkin() ...

I wanted second upload option because this was business requirement.. For now, I asked business to change the requirement and I added the new button in DAM UI on which I trigger the workflow to do business logic, Also asked user to manually upload the file into the desired folder by click on 'Upload Assets'.Thanks.

Hi,No, I could not get any solution of this yet. Please note that all of the above help urls sent by you, contain creating a new page with Upload button and having jsp OUTSIDE DAM, but my requirement is to add the event of uploading file on a new button within DAM UI under 'More..', before calling servlet and I do not have any jsp.I will post the solution, if I find it.Thanks.

I am not using Scene7. Is there any other way?My understanding was that if we add few new renditions for any image, AEM will take the best available rendition to scale it. But I see same dimensions of scaling by system for any image, irrespective of its rendition...Hence images are blurry in DAM.

Hi All,Do you know how does system scale the uploaded image in DAM?Many images uploaded in DAM, are shown as blurry compared to original one.To solve this problem, I configured a new matching rendition in the update DAM asset workflow. After uploading an image, if I right click on this, select 'View Image Info', it shows dimension and scaled to..For example: 222px × 319px (scaled to 256px × 367px)I added '256:367:false' configuration in rendition...However I can still see in DAM that system scale...

Hi,I have a question regarding adding new rendition for image (asset type: tiff and jpg).I need to add new rendition of 370 x 208.I configured the Thumbnail Arguments in the Process Thumbnails step[com.day.cq.dam.core.process.ThumbnailProcess] in DAM Update Asset workflow. However it does not shown up in the rendition list for asset. Is there any additional step which I need to configure?I am using AEM 6.1.Please suggest. Thanks,

Hi, I want to authenticate Salesforce user credential from CQ using API.Can you please give me any example or steps to do it? I searched api and found com.adobe.cq.mcm.salesforceSalesforceSecretServlet. It says: The SalesforceSecretServlet connects to the specified Salesforce instance and validates the request. It seems I need to override the doGet() method. However I do not see any API here to pass user name and password to authenticate. There is constant field as customerKey and secretParam, b...
