Re: What is the easiest way to understand Virtual Report Suites & Report Suites - Adobe Analytics 23-06-2022
Totally agree. For organizations that used to have individual Report Suites and a Global Report Suite, there is no longer a need to do anything of the sort. It's so much easier these days to create ONE Global Report Suite, and then segment your data as needed to then build your Virtual Report Suite(s) as needed to display your data to the individuals who need to see it in the way you prefer. No need to fire duplicate server calls and rack up additional costs like so many of us did in the past!

Re: Filtered dates still show - Adobe Analytics 23-06-2022
Agree with @Pablo_Childe, it's all about the segment and the container controls.

Re: Unable to edit an existing Marketing Channel classification - Adobe Analytics 23-06-2022
You use two terms above, "Classification" and "Rule Set." @VaniBhemarasetty addressed editing the Marketing Channels. If you're really trying to effect Classifications for your Marketing Channels, that will be something of a different nature. Are you bringing in data to your Marketing Channels that requires further breaking out via classifications, or are you simply just needing to send them through the Marketing Channel Processing rules, as described below?

Re: What is the easiest way to understand Virtual Report Suites & Report Suites - Adobe Analytics 23-06-2022
Easy answer: think of a database and a SQL record set. A Virtual Report Suite is essentially a filtered record set (SEGMENT) of your data you have provided to a set of users. The idea is often to have separate security, etc. to protect your CORE Report Suite. This is often done when you have users who you would prefer not have access or do not require access to the full report suite.Make sense?

Re: Calculated Metric Calculation - Adobe Analytics 22-06-2022
Both @Jennifer_Dungan and @VaniBhemarasetty are correct. This is just like doing a Conversion Rate (orders/visits or orders/uv), except you're doing a DECIMAL instead of a percentage. In fact, after you remove the percentage displayed in your actual column, which is highly distracting next to your actual number, I believe things will make a lot more sense. Also, if you know a lot of your users aren't using the Locator, it might be good to remove the GRAND Total from your display at the top. Betwe...

Re: Bulk Delete scheduled reports - Adobe Analytics 21-06-2022
Question: Did you renew any of these reports before April 15, 2022?A colleague of mine reminded me, the Reports module went "dormant" as of that date.

Re: Download full free form table to csv - Adobe Analytics 21-06-2022
Adobe has managed to make a liar out of me today. One of those Mandela-effects.I really could have sworn I've done this in the past, and now I cannot reproduce this in an hour of need for a fellow user.We are in agreement. My best guess as to WHY has to do with data performance. For instance, you may select a SPECIFIC dimension within a freeform table, right-click, select Download items as CSV and you'll receive ALL of the items beyond line 5. It just depends at which level you're selecting your ...

Re: Difference between Calculated Metric Visits & Fallout Visits. - Adobe Analytics 21-06-2022
Agreed. It does take just a bit to get your mind wrapped around it, but it's definitely effective!

Re: Download full free form table to csv - Adobe Analytics 21-06-2022
@victor_marti - I just re-read your post, and realized you actually WANTED all of the broken out values. That's a horse of a different color.Let me rephrase:The option I provided above will work for everything that's already been broken out. The beauty of it is you will NOT have to take the time to display additional rows of items. For instance, if it's currently displaying rows 1 thru 5 and there are 1000, you will not have to display all 1000 for it to download all 1000 rows. Just remember, yo...
