In main process you would have todrag a abstract activity (process design mode in workbench). Define that abstract activity.Search for your 2nd process and select it. Your 2nd Process is ready to be used in Main process. You can make input/output variables for 2nd process so that you can pass/retrieve values from it in the 1st Main process.Note: Make sure that application, to which the 2nd process belongs, should be deployed.Hope it helps. Thanks,Abhinav

Hi Abhinav,I think this would be a better aproach.Killing a process from workbench is not possible, you have to customize your services to do this. And I am not much aware of that .or do we have any services (any wsdl service) to kill or stop the process ?? Regards--Chalukya.

Use the following WSDL to check the process status remotely:http://YOUR_SERVER_NAME:8080/soap/services/TaskManagerQueryService?wsdlSteps:1. Using TaskManagerQueryService you can search for your Process Instance (with some filter parameters).2. Get the ProcessInstanceRow from the result list3. Check the Process Status from processInstanceStatus propertyHope that helps!Nith

If you refer participants as the user of workbench which are part of a particular process you can surely do it. Make a List variable in the process which will store emails. Now append all participant's mail addresses to this variable for each user. Now when the process reaches the last step (just before completion), loop through the list and send a notification mail to all participants.Another way is to create a group which has all the participants of a particular process. When process reaches t...

Lists are 1 index based i.e. First item would be added at index 1 of the list, not from 0.So pls check if your counter variable is starting from value 1. Rest of the thing seems to be fine. Thanks,Abhinav

Hi,Add an email start point in the process. It will automatically download the attachment(xml/pdf) and make it available to the process. In next step you can pass this attachment to the java service. You may have to make a custom java component for passing it to servelet. Hope it helps.Thanks.-abhinav

Hi,I am facing invoking long lived processes on LC Server ES2. Short lived ones are working fine. I went thru help docs and there it is mentioned that Long Lived process store process information on server (like process state values) while short live doesn't. The same long lived process is running fine on default Win 7, MySQL, JBoss environment. I have no clue why it is happening so. Pls help me on it.I have installed Livecycle server ES2 on my server machine. Its configurations are:OS - Windows...

Email Receive Activity has an option to filter emails based on Attachment MIME type. You can create a continuous running process which looks for emails with attachments. If email successfully retrieved, invoke the primary process, otherwiseloop back and wait for next email.Make sense?Nith

Your xpath doesn't match your XML - you are missing the root node in your xpath expression:Expression: /process_data/myXML/records/record[1]/email should be: /process_data/myXML/root/records/record[1]/emailWhen you build your loop there is one other thing to be careful of. If you evaluate an xpath variable inside of another xpath expression, it gets inserted as a string. This happens even if the variable is an integer. For example: If I have an integer variable counter which is set to 3 and eval...

Just put it into the click event of a button. As far as I could figure out, this method seems to work properly only if the image data size is less than about 100 KB.

Hi Anhinav,Because reader is not "extended" Web Services will not work on Reader. They do however (as you've noted) work in Acrobat, which is "extended".To make web services work in Reader, you will need to purchase the LiveCycle Reader Extensions.Hope that helps.Jay

Thanks for reply Paul.Actually I need to render a Google Map (Static JPG Image) in ImageField dyanamically. Pls have a look on snap below -But ImageField accepts only Base64 encoded value, so I can't use the URI of static image. Also I can't load it in temp memory inside PDF (Using HTTP Request) & then convert it into Base64 value. So I thought of putting HTML frame inside PDF.Now I am thinking that the only way left is to make a WebService in b/w GoogleMap and PDF which will accept the location...

The DDX reference guide notes that the Assembler service can not help you create Navigation Welcomepages or Navigation Headers. It suggests you create these using Acrobat and then reference them in your DDX. It also states that the source of either of these can be a PDF or XML file. The example below is taken directly from the DDX reference. I have a process that builds DDX dynamically at runtime. If I can do the same for the XML (myXMLWelcomePage or myXMLHeader), I'll have the ability to create...

Its step 3 that is the issue. The XML data isn't the same as the XFA field properties (of which .rawValue is one)When you created your form, you also created an XML data structure. If you don't manually bind sample XML or a schema to the form then Designer will create a default one for you. The default one will follow the same structure of your form, but it will not include the field properties - its just the data.Note: If you are bound your form to a schema or sample XML then it will use that s...

I need to attach documents in my pdf form using acrobat attachment functionality (not the workspace atachments). It works fine when submit form as PDF but fails when submit form as XDP. We update PDF Fields using FormDataIntegration -> exportData, and after updating values in XML, FormDataIntegration -> importData. These are apparently being depracated in ES2 though.

When you created you Navigator (using a Flash Builder project) you set up a folder structure. In that folder structure you added an image that is referenced by the navigator's mxml file. For example, I usually put my images and other bits in an "assets" folder. So if I have an image that I'm using called myimage.png the path will be assets\myimage.png.When I compile my code all of the assets get stuffed into the .nav fileWith the DDX Resource tag you are telling LiveCycle to open the .nav file, ...
