Hi apologies on the late reply as I was ill. I've gotten to the point of
seeing the form in workspace. I can submit outside of workspace and it
goes into the database, however I can't get that to work inside
Hi, I am looking for some help here as I'm close but I am a bit lost. I
have a an adaptive form in our development environment. Its pointing to
a JEE Application*I used the following directions to set this up*
In the past with regular PDF I use exportData service to pull the
information out of the PDF. However this isn't a PDF and of course I'm...
I'm also having some issues with this an following intently We're not
able to pick up our JEE process I contacted support but did not get this
resolved.. Should I just create a separate thread for this?
Thank you so much for all your help! For those that are curious to what
happened. @GirishBedekar contacted me via my DM because frankly I don't
want certain emails out there and we conferenced about what the issue
was. From what we're told The fix won't be available until 6.5.8 but the
workaround for AEM Forms JEE is the following: 1. Open Workbench2.
Create 2 variables, inDoc and outDoc variable, data type document3. Add
anew activity and Reader Extension Apply Usage Rights.4. Choose the
Hi, We have actually patched 6.5 and currently using in our production
environment. By the same token, we STILL have the issue with Reader
Extensions not being able to attach anything to the reader extended PDF.
And let me tell you, from a government standpoint, thats bad. We utilize
this function a lot.
I'm working with a US government entity that has AEM Forms 6.5 JEE, have
worked with them since AEM forms 6.2 JEE. We have been trying without
any resolution to figure out what the heck is going on with Reader
Extensions at the server level. Each time we upgrade we try reader
extensions after a fresh upgrade, we're not able to attach files to our
PDF's. We still are running an old server that has reader extensions but
we're getting demerits. Basically we're being told tough figure it out.

not sure why as for many entities, its their sole desktop browser. I
work with one such entity so yes its painful. I had asked if there was a
reason why this was the case and got dead air. At any rate Its nearly a
must to have Chrome and Firefox (I use chrome when working on AEM)Great
info and would be nice if they updated the instructions for this!

Ok I sort of answered my own question.Adobe Experience Manager Help |
Generic steps for AEM Forms workspace customization Here's what I had to
do differently:I noticed in the error page it kept wanting the index
file.In Step 10, you're asked to point to an index file. But it
never asks you to actually copy the index file from libs/ws and you're
never asked to create one. If you create the apps/ws folder as nt
folder, you can't copy that file over. So When I redid this I made the
folder a sling f...
