Nicolas, we are actively working on breaking down the various silos that exist in Experience Optimization use cases in Adobe Target. Activity Types are a great example of this largely artificial construct. By bringing these things together we can unlock more powerful use cases for our customers and streamline our experience selection APIs behind the scenes. Bringing Recommendations in to AB and XT activities is another example of this breaking down of walls. You'll see more in the future! Very m...

When integrating through Adobe Launch you shouldn't encounter any issues with A4T - though I would encourage you to check with your account team to confirm based on your specific implementation of Experience Manager Sites or speak with an AEM expert! @jonathanl557422 wrote:We are planning to integrate AEM with Adobe Target (lots of issues actually on the integration process). Are there any concerns on how this may impact an A4T integration if one exists already?

@cjoplin one option you have may be to track to a more upper funnel metric like clicks/click through rate for the statistical measurement aspect and correlate it to a metric that is further down funnel. However, A/B testing is ultimately about math and stats and there has to be a baseline level of engagement (visitors and actions) to support the math aspects. Auto-Allocate can help in some use cases because it allocates traffic dynamically throughout the life of a test. Here are some great links...

@aseemp97838257 I often think of this as an 80/20 rule or a long tail strategy. For the markets and pages that you want to actively optimize and balance that optimization against specific KPIs with statistical backing - use Adobe Target. Simultaneously you may have a long tail of pages that are lower volume, not actively managed, or don't need to track experiences against goals or outcomes you are specifically looking to improve and have math to back it up. In those circumstances, it is likely t...

You can find Adobe Target guidance around limits posted here: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/target/using/troubleshoot/target-limits.html Some of these are system limits and some are recommended best practices. A few examples: Audience namesLimit : 255 characters.AudiencesLimit : 50 audiences per mbox, metric, or experience.Audiences, reusable per accountRecommended limit : 20,000 audiences. @CJara1 wrote:Will definitely expand the audience size via an Audience Library segment. Great question @nicolasr2843930 - we fully support the legacy setup and in fact continue to support it in the latest Experience Platform SDK (alloy.js) which unifies data collection for all Experience Cloud applications. You can learn more about that release here: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/platform-learn/tutorials/data-ingestion/web-sdk/introduction-to-web-sdk-and-edge-network.html Generally we find that one service call to Adobe is preferable than multiple calls, even if those call...

Hi @CJara1 - mboxTrace is probably your best bet! It will show you your profile snapshot before and after the call to Adobe Target, and show you any missing audience qualifications when you are evaluating any activity. Here is a link to documentation on mboxTrace: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/target/using/activities/troubleshoot-activities/content-trouble.html#section_256FCF7C14BB435BA2C68049EF0BA99E @CJara1 wrote:Thanks, Jason. What's the best method to debug an Audience Library segmen...

Hi, @CJara1 - Most use cases are likely solved through the Audience Library - especially now that we've added the ability to combine multiple audiences and build out AND/OR/NOT logic inside of your audiences or audience combinations. Profile Scripts are great for when you need to do mathematical operations, simple programming loops, or just need access to raw code to tweak your audience to do exactly what you want! Some examples there are building out affinity scores based on page engagement, or...

@djefferson this is a great question! The form-based composer makes sense quite a few scenarios. Typically you will use the form-composer when you want to deploy Target to any non-Javascript environment or server-side applications. Hello! Thanks for this suggestion. This capability is not currently offered by our geo data provider, but it is a great suggestion. the current workaround would be to include all of the counties (or shires) that belong to one of the UK countries and create a reusable segment. You'd only have to do that once and would have the same level of targeting.

You can pass any data layer values in to Adobe Target via custom parameters (name/value pairs) as part of the implementation - either via the code or Tag Management (like DTM)Check out this help page: Passing Parameters to a Global mbox

Instead of using the XT activity type, you can apply multiple audiences to A/B test type. This should do exactly what you want. You can have an A/B but have different versions of A/B for different audiencesMultiple Experience Versions in an A/B Test We released this feature last year!

It's possible, though I'm not sure how plausible, to use a profile script to generate a random number from 1-any integer and assign that to a users profile. Imagine a script profile called "randNum" that generates a number between 1 and 1,000. Two audiences can then be built on this profile. When user.randNum is between 1 and 50, assign a user to group A. When user.randNum is greater than 50, assign a user to group B. The last step would be to target all future activities to only Group B. You co...

Great feedback Miguel, and something definitely worth considering. One benefit of the current approach is that it allows you the flexibility to accept your own range of false positives (either via using the calculator or not) via P Value. The more structure in place in the UI around reporting, the less flexibility you would have. But I definitely hear you!

One thing that might help to visualize this is a confidence simulator at the URL below. It does a great job of explaining the concept of "reaching confidence" vs "being confident". Hi Jakub,You are wanting to do a "template test". That is documented here: https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/target/target/t_temtest.htmlWith respect to the # of combinations (up to 100), have you considered passing a parameter to your global mbox on the Product Summary Page? I've linked to the documentation below. The idea would be that you could use a data layer or some other data source and so populate your Adobe Target call with something like "pageType=ProductSummary" https:/...
