Re: Sub form display from top of the page - Adobe LiveCycle 11-12-2014
Hi Arul,Maybe this helps you. It is kinda clumsy but might work for you.Sounds like you are ending up on the right page but in the wrong spot on that page. Yah?So at the end of your button code (which already works) just put in:xfa.host.pageDown();xfa.host.pageUp();So, in effect, you are going off page and then immediately coming back. It happens very quickly, so the user won't notice it.It has the result of bringing you to the TOP of the page.Good Luck,Joe

Re: EULA agreement for submitting forms with Acrobat 11? - Adobe LiveCycle 03-11-2014
Yes.The contract reads:"For the avoidance of doubt, if Customer purchases another Adobe product or service that allows Customer to send a greater number of PDF files or forms (e.g., Adobe FormsCentral or Adobe LiveCycle Reader Extensions), then the terms of that Adobe product or service shall supersede the terms of this Section 16.8.3."

Re: EULA agreement for submitting forms with Acrobat 11? - Adobe LiveCycle 31-10-2014
HI Jeff,What about if you have purchased a FormsCentral account that allows unlimited forms, instances, and responses? Doesn't that make a difference? And does that apply only to Acrobat forms or to LiveCycle forms as well? Thanks,Joe

Re: Deleted text reappears after saving! - Adobe LiveCycle 19-06-2012
Hi Everyone,I think this is "fixed" now. (or at least we have a workaround?)To restate:The text reappears after it is deleted, saved, closed, and then reopened. This only happens when the text is in a (rich text) text field and in a flowed subform. The problem goes away if you change the text field to plain text.I had no luck with anything related to "nocache".This has to be a bug, yes? Any updates since this thread was started? Thanks all,Joe

Re: How many times can I use a form? - Adobe LiveCycle 29-07-2011
Hi Chuck,Thank you for your response. Please excuse my density, but I just want to create my own example and see what you think.I create a form using Live Cycle and I enable it so that others can fill it out. I do not put it on a web site. I send it to people. Those people fill it out, save it, and send it back. How many times can I do that? Thanks,Joe

Hi Everyone,Easy question...I hope.If I put in a Date/Time field and run the form, it gives me a really nice selector for choosing the date.Is there any way to get a nice selector mechanism so that the user can choose the time...rather than typing it?Thanks All

How many times can I use a form? - Adobe LiveCycle 15-07-2011
Hi Everyone,Can anyone explain what this means? (text below) If I make a form in LiveCycle Designer and then I extend it so that other users can fill it out...Does that mean that only 500 people can use the form?If so, then...I am dumbfounded and disappointed. What must be purchased in order to allow more than 500 people to use an extended form? Thanks All."15.12.3. For any unique Extended Document, you may only either (a) Deploy such Extended Document to an unlimited number of unique recipients b...

mailto question - Adobe LiveCycle 24-06-2011
Hi Everyone,I know how to code a button in my forms so that it sends the form as a PDF attachment in the email:var mail;mail = "mailto:somebody@happy.com" + "?subject=Something";event.target.submitForm({cURL: mail,bEmpty: true,cSubmitAs: "PDF",cCharset: "utf-8"}); My questions are: 1. This always creates a Plain Text email. Is there any way that I can allow it to generate a Rich Text email?2. Can I specify a small image, like a logo, so that it will appear in the body of the message. Let's assum...

Re: Acrobat X, now SaveAs and Send do not work - Adobe LiveCycle 17-06-2011
Hi Niall,Thanks for the reference. It is wonderful.Yes...as usual, I was a bit vague. Let me explain.I have Acrobat 9. I recently installed Acrobat Reader X. So I have 9 (full) and X (just the Reader). Prior to the install of X, I was always able to test my forms in Preview, in LCD. The Saveas and Send buttons always worked. (Note that this was long before I ever "extended" or "enabled" the form.) But with X installed, this no longer worked. If I come all the way out of LCD and go into Acrobat a...
