I GOT IT! Paul, you are amazing!!! Every time I get to the end of my rope and finally ask for help, I figure it out before I get the answer. Maybe I should start asking sooner.My problem was in the second data connection. I was still linking the second data connection to a table. I changed this to a SQL command " SELECT * FROM WHERE 0=1Then it worked! Oh, I am sooooo excited. The things I can with this. Skippyidy Doo Dah.... Thank you a million times over.

The print button executes several commands to clean up the form by eliminating information that is not used. Form users are working in Reader x (ten). I was getting a different error message when they were using the older version of reader, so I had them update. Now, when they hit the submit button, users are getting a message that all mandatory fields have not been filled out. The user should not get this message if the subform with the mandatory field is still inactive. Any solutions?

"Presence inactive" not working in Acrobat X - Adobe LiveCycle 06-12-2010

I have a form with subforms that are marked inactive unless a box is checkecd. The inactive subform has mandatory fields. I had no problem using and digitally signing this form in Acrobat 9, but in ten, if I keep the subform inactive, I get an error message when digitially signing the form that the mandatory fields contained in the inactive subform have not been filled out. Is this a glitch or is there an easy fix? Thanks.
