Currently it is as designed. Can be argued as bug or feature. Any case file an official support ticket. The workaround I can think right now is custom implementation with extending samlauthentication handler

michaelowenwang wrote... Hi Sham, Thank you for explanation, as I am not using the encryption, so sp2 will not fix my problem. So here is a question: when user click logout link, AEM does clears the cookie first right? if it is so, I can't do the real sign out if IDP doesn't clears related cookies, right? That required cookies cleared on both side to make it work, not only required to clear cookie on AEM side? Owen Wang It clears cookie first in aem & immediately send signout request to idp. tha...

Hi Sham and all,We are facing the same issue with logout now in AEM 6.3 . We are using the logout handler and the logout url has been provided. Once the user logs out, he will be redirected to logout page. But if he tries to login in the same browser he will be redirected to the logout page instead of login. Can you please tel me if there is any fix for this issue?

Hi Sham,Thank you for your response. Is it for the AEM 6.0 version right? Can we just use the default group attribute with existing crx user group in it and leave the groupmembership attribute blank? will that be workable?

Hi Donald,Thank you for your reply, I know this post URL teaches people how to set up SAML, IDP, LDAP for AEM integration. But my question is AEM Local user like admin/author account can still have access to AEM platform if AEM platform integrated with Identity Directory already, all the account credential are stored in Identity Directory for saml authentication. Does AEM local authentication still work?

Hi Oweb Wang,Yes reffering to aem permissions. To set the permissions automatically after user creation you need to use groupmemebership attribute Or defaultgroupmembership. As informed earlier if you are not sending groupmemebership attribute and configured defaultgroupmembership not getting assigned then it is a bug. AFAIK this should get fixed in upcoming SP2. File a daycare for further assistance. THanks,ShamTwitter: @adobe_sham
