CVP / Multi touch attribution - Adobe Analytics 04-05-2016
Hi,is anyone on the forum using Adobe's standard time decay model for multi-touch attribution (aka cross visit participation). If you are how has your experience been? Are you using their standard model or built your own custom model?It looks like their standard time decay model doesn't take into account giving more credit to touches that happen closer to the conversion on the same day (aka - if there are more than one touch). Just wanted to get people's thoughts on this. thanks

Hi -has anyone in the community had any experiences in integrating reporting between salesforce liveagent and Adobe Analytics (AA) to get a full funnel view of live chat? in particular the fall out from request to successful chat.Really interested to know if anyone is looking at the same thing and how they've accomplished this. High % of baidu traffic being classified under other website - Adobe Analytics 12-01-2016
Is anyone else seeing a high % of traffic from baidu being classified under other website in the referrer type report? we are seeing nearly 80% of baidu traffic being classified under "other website". We reached out to client care - but they haven't been able to give a clear response as to why this is occurring. We drilled down to the referrer and we are seeing "pos.baidu.com". Does anyone know what this is?Thanks

We are also seeing similar problems starting in December 2015, where we saw a 20% - 30% decrease in typed / bookmark traffic. We checked tagging and other referrer types - but have not seen increases or any other anomalies. The only thing we changed at the same time we saw a drop in typed / bookmark traffic from the referrer type report was activate marketing channel reports. But I don't see how this would affect the the referrer type report.

Thanks Rahul for your note. However - this would tell me that I am correct in that the referrer type report is wrong does it not? The referrer type report, which is the default report in AA isn't tied to a conversion point. Hence the first example should be the case, which doesn't seem to be: Instances reporting higher than visits: A variable can be defined multiple times within a visit. For example, a user arrives at your site with Referrer A, then less than 30 minutes later arrives at your sit...

Did any one else notice that the referrer type report is reporting significantly lower #s last week post the maintenance that AA conducted?? I always remember that if you total up the instances in the referrer type report, it should be higher than what your site visits metric is. But is seems like as of around 8/1 - the total of instances in the referrer type report is 20% - 30% less than the total site visits in the visits report. How can this be? Thank you. I actually did - both in ad hoc and in AA. However, i don't think this metric gets to what i am looking for. I primarily only want to understand the avg. clicks for the first instance to get to the product page, but the avg. path depth report takes into account all the instances when that page was visited in a given path. I know that in ad ahoc you can change the setting to omit recurring instances so it should only count the 1st instance, but even then - i don't see the #s change. I ...
