Is there a way to display the forms file name, into a text field?Example: The form's file name is "MyForm.1.01.pdf"I would like to display "MyForm.1.01" in a text field on the form.If my form is saved and goes up a revision to say "MyForm.1.02""MyForm.1.02" is then displayed in the text field.I was thinking, this could be on the pre open event, so that when the form is saved, it would display the new revision when the form is next opened?Thanks in advance.

This works fine, but I now need to make a subform visible when a particular engine selection is made.Because there are no list items (as they are in the script object) is makes it hard to set an action on the engine ddlist to make the subform visible?I was hoping to do something like:if (xfa.event.newText == "Engine1") { this.resolveNode("subform1").presence = "visible";}

How do I make a progress bar to show the amount of populated fields in a form?I remember an example posted here on the forum, but can no longer find it.It was a sliding "progress bar" that increased as you populated fields in the form.As the form fields were filled in, the progress bar moved up the scale.When all fields were populated the progress bar was "full".Thanks for any help!

Anyone?I have a feeling that I need to add somthing like this on the ddlist?if (Len(Ltrim(Rtrim(SelectField.rawValue))) > 0) then //Change the commandType from TABLE to TEXT. TEXT is the equivalent of SQL Property $sourceSet.DataConnection.#command.query.commandType = "text" //Set the Select Node. Select in this case will be whatever the SQL Property you want. $sourceSet.DataConnection.#command.query.select.nodes.item(0).value = Concat("Select * from Table1 Where ID = ", Ltrim(Rtrim(SelectField....

"Is there a way to only lock certain types of objects"If you wrap the objects you want to lock into a subform, and use the name of the subform in the call to the scriptobject, instead of form1.This will give you total control of which items are locked and which are not locked.It works well.

Thanks Niall, Just done a test, this works, but I seem to be having a problem calculating the total in form2?Is this because the data in form2 has been imported into the form? The usual formcalc or js does not appear to work?Tried both the below:Sum (CostField1, CostField2)Total.rawValue = CostField1.rawValue + CostField2.rawValue;Thanks

If after populating my form in Acrobat, and then Forms - Manage Form Data - Export Data to export the data to a file. When I merge the data back into my form, some (not all) fields are missed, and no data is imported back into the form?Why is this? I can't see any difference in the fields that do export and the fields that don't?Thanks
