Is it too much to ask that a Mac user can just OPEN and USE a PDF form created by LiveCycle Designer PC software?!? - Adobe LiveCycle 16-09-2009
My problem is just that- I have created all my forms using LiveCycle Designer because it is easier to make the forms accessible to individuals with disabilities. Apparently it doesn't make Mac users have access to the forms. I've received complaints from Mac users that cannot complete or submit the forms that I created. I'm not asking how to recreate using another software, I know how to do that. I'm asking is there a work around to allow a Mac user to open a PDF form or even XML (bedded within ...

Re: Works on PC not on Mac, xdp merge with livecycle form - Adobe LiveCycle 16-09-2009
Have you ever received any information to help in regard to this problem? I'm looking for similar "fixes" for LiveCycle Designer forms to work on a Mac.Since Firefox is now a Mac browser would your idea of coding work in that? If so I'd love to learn how! Thanks,Kara ZirkleIT Accessibility CoordinatorGeorge Mason University703-993-9815kzirkle1@gmu.edu

error 0xc0000005 - Adobe LiveCycle 14-07-2009
I have uninstalled and reinstalled CS4 numerous times on my computer, I've repaired and even tried to download it from online. Nothing has worked I continue to get the error of 0xc0000005 when trying to open LiveCycle Designer. I can't express how many hours of my time I've wasted over the past couple years dealing with various errors and problems with Adobe but this by far has to be the worst. Any information is appreciated.Thank you,Kara

Re: Calculating and Displaying Dates in Javascript - Adobe LiveCycle 03-10-2008
I am trying to do something similar and am not Java Script savvy in the least. I have a document I've created that if a student would select the days Monday - Thursday I would like the time field to only allow 7:30 am - 7:30 pm to be entered on those days and only the hours of 8:30 - 5:30 for Fridays. Is there a way to write this and add it in as script if I've just been using the design view for all my form design so for in Live Cycle?Thanks- Kara

Re: problem with accesible pdf - Adobe LiveCycle 03-10-2008
Are you using LiveCycle for this new form you created? Try the palettes option when right clicking on the design page. You'll see one for accessibility. There you can use caption, original text, help text, etc. Not to mention there is also a great new tab order in the new LiveCycle Designer that comes with Acrobat 9. I hope this helps, if you have some questions feel free to contact me.Kara ZirkleIT Accessibility CoordinatorGeorge Mason Universitykzirkle1@gmu.edu

Problems with Acrobat 9 or LiveCycle 8 Distributing Forms - Adobe LiveCycle 13-08-2008
Myself and a coworker create all the forms in our office. However, all the forms have submit buttons to a general address that everyone can check. Though we have that general address on the submit to email button mailto: general@aaa.com it still sends from my personal email box so when the individual gets it and submits it, it will also submit back to my email address. Can someone help and please let me know how to fix this. We have about 10 forms that we have this problem on and are hoping to g...
