I created a form several months ago in LiveCycle ES4. Have no issues with users filling in the form, hitting the submit button and sending a completed form. I now have several users in the organization that are using Acrobat DC and are unable to send or save the form with any data. This is very serious for us as we have many many form that were created in LC ES4... Any ideas???

I have created a form, in LiveCycle ES4, that I am distributing to our organization. We are trying to use the output file which is an XML file. Is there a way to change the output file to a PDF?? Any advice, assistance, suggestions or otherwise would be great! We are trying to use the pdf to send to a repository location and yet be "readable" at a later date by corporate compliance officers.

I have created a 4 page form with a customized submit button on page 4. the button merely adds to the subject line and msg body along with a specified email address. I need the form to lock, except for the last page. The fourth page needs to be able to change or add additional data. Is there a way without using the signature field for me to lock the form??

I have created a form that I would like to pull in data from a document repository. There are fields that are collected from a barcode coversheet and we would like some of that info pulled into a form, when asked. Not even sure if this is possible....

I have a form that I have created in LiveCycle with a submit button to have the completed form emailed to a specific person. I have it set up with a message in the body of the email, but I am looking to add an additional message based on the results of one of the fields in the form....is this possible without major script writing?I am not a programmer, but willing to learn some script.

I have not been able to get it to work. First of all I do not have sub forms, just drop down fields and fill-in fields. The form the Magus069 sent me is very extensive for someone at my level of programming. I went through it and tried to create my own based on the script, but have not been successful at all.I understand the above language and formulas, but unfortunately I do not have subforms. I have tried to manipulate the above script, but once again I am not having luck. Thank you both very ...

Sorry. I am unable to view the form on line…Is it possible that you email it to me? This form I created I just killing me. I just can’t get the message to pop up when required fields are missed and I need to resolve it or find a work around. I am not a programmer by any means, but I am able to understand formulas.Thank you Magus069,Teresa

I tried viewing your method, but I am unable to. I have an issue that is similar and you had responded to me with a suggestion, but ever left it for me. haha I have a form that is not giving me a message that required fields are null. I have everything set as it should be. I have several 'hidden' fields that I have actions set for them. i.e. if this field is checked, display this field...I have a submit button, however, I need the 12 fields to display a message if they are still blank once the s...

Thank you for your prompt response Robert.I already have the form properties set, but I did go and confirm. I do have hidden fields, however they are set to Optional, so nothing out of the ordinary there. I am not familiar at all with the Set Focus feature... I just found the Set Focus option, turned it on and proceed to verify its working function. I did not work. I am willing to send form in .tds format if you would rather justlook at wihat I have for script and any settings.Teresa

I have created a form with an submit button with is supposed to go to an email address. I have used this EXACT process in a prior form and had no issues. I am using a regular button and then have a script in MouseUp*. The following script will not open email to send it. I copied it directly form a previous form that did what wwe wanted it to do. Script:if (form1.execValidate() == true){ if (employeename.rawValue != null || employeename.rawValue != "") { vSubject = "Emerging Technology Evaluation...

I am pretty sure the answer is in the script. I have put together pieces of script from other suggestions and I am pretty sure I have ascrewed something up along teh way. I have looked at the attached link and that is where I got some of the script you see below. I am sure you will refer to me as the hatchet person who chopped the script up. sorry. (It is in the Mouse Up) This does work, sort of...It will give the user the message that the required fields are not filed in if they are blank, but ...
