Re: Make text box text start at top of box, not centered vertically - Adobe LiveCycle 04-02-2010
Thanks to you both! I didn't even know that paragraph window existed until now. Alll I kept seeing in my panel off to the side was the Object and Layout tab.

Make text box text start at top of box, not centered vertically - Adobe LiveCycle 04-02-2010
It seems all my text boxes i have start the text in the center of the box vertically, then spaces it out as you type more. is there a way to make it start at the top of the box and work down, just as if you were typing in Word or Notepad. if someone only types a few lines, it looks kinda odd having the text in the middle of the box with all that white space above and below it.

Re: Moving page drops it on top of another page, not between. HELP!!! - Adobe LiveCycle 26-01-2010
These forms did originally start in the old Designer that came with Acrobat 7, so this does do some funky things. I'm not going to worry about it for now, since I know I'm doing it right. If it happens with new forms created in the new Designer, I'll make another post.

this is what my Hierachy tab looks like, when I grab and drag Comments and try to drop it between OverallRating and Development like shown below, it actually overlays the Comments subform over the Development subform.

Any suggestions as to what to look for specifically? I'm not allowed to post the document publicly, although that would make things 100 times easier haha.

Re: Moving page drops it on top of another page, not between. HELP!!! - Adobe LiveCycle 22-01-2010
Actually, I think I was able to rearrange pages by cutting from the to the first of the one i wanted to move in the XML view, then pasting that above the of what is current the page i wanted it before.Does that do it also, or did i just open up a can of worms?

Moving page drops it on top of another page, not between. HELP!!! - Adobe LiveCycle 22-01-2010
I added a new page to a form I'm designing, and it placed it as the last page. I thought in the hierarchy view, I could drag the page up until the line showed in between my first and second page, which is where i want the new page to go. But every time I do that, it just drops the contents of my new page on top of everything already on my first page!!! What am i doing wrong?? Please help.

Re: Tab order shows correctly, but doesn't work in PDF - Adobe LiveCycle 13-01-2010
Thanks for the tips. Still not sure why it didn't work right when they were all not named when the tab order was correctly set, kinda crazy. Knowing what I know now I would have went about building these a lot differently. Maybe if I get time I'll go back and rebuild them eventually.

Re: Tab order shows correctly, but doesn't work in PDF - Adobe LiveCycle 13-01-2010
Thanks everybody. I went through and checked the aligning of the hundreds of checkboxes i have. I also had to end up giving names to some of my pages andsubforms to help fix the issue. honestly i can't tell what fixed it but i think a combination of all them helped. maybe it was too confused with so many unnamed subforms, checkboxes, etc.I think it'd be a huge win for Adobe if for the next version they could just fix the bugs and try automating/making things easier. it took forever to design thi...
