Is the timestamp incorrect? 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
Just noticed in my debugger that the timestamp is 1 month behind, so it's showing as 8th June 2014 and not 8th July.Anyone else noticed this? We've tested different sites, browsers, machines and debuggers and my PC has the correct time setting. A colleague found the same issue in his debugger too.

Aobe Admin UI is hopeless and many years' past its best. Will it ever be updated? 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
The Adobe Admin UI is a real mess which means that many clients are wasting tens of admin hours a month doing what should be simple, quick and easy tasks.Aspects of the UI and back-end are perhaps >10 years' old and not for for purpose. Some actually weren't fit on day 1, and that was acceptable a decade ago but not today. This makes certain admin tasks uneconomic to undertake when they should take circa 15 mins.Such issues harm the [admin] user experience of Adobe Analytics, which in turn makes ...

Re: The new slide menu is AWFUL! Is there any way to use the old flyout menu instead? 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
Agree - I find it painful to do what used to be quick and easy.I can't imagine that Adobe will revert back to how it used to be, so hopefully it'll be "ok" with familiarity.

Re: The new slide menu is AWFUL! Is there any way to use the old flyout menu instead? 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
After using the new menu for a few weeks, I have to agree that it's awful and a big step backwards. It's hard to get used to, less intuitive and takes much longer to do simple navigation.

Marketing Channel Processing Rule - template feature broken 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
The last time I needed to update the Marketing Channel Processing Rules for multiple RSs the template feature worked fine; this was several weeks ago.Today it is broken.I can select all RSs, select my template, but when I save the change to the 220 selected RSs, the product changes to state that the change was make to only 1 RS.This is a real pain and ClientCare's solution of manually changing each RS separately isn't viable.

Re: Offer another calendar date format in addition to mmddyyyy 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
Date masks have always been very poor. I once heard that you could have a more UK friendly date mask provided that your language setting was not English (but this may not be true)! As well as a new option(s) it in SiteCat, there needs to be an option to change everywhere and in all products. A great start would be a new option to set a default in Admin at a Company, RS level and ideally at a user level.

Re: Serious bug in totals line 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
Hi JD - no I didn't submit a bug through clientcare as they said it was a known feature / quirk and isn't being treated as a bug. My opinion is that it's a serious bug becuase the reported data is incorrect.

Serious bug in totals line 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
I have a "key metrics" report open in SC15 and the totals line is incorrect for my calculated metrics. This has been explained by clientcare as a "a quirk of the calc metric" but from my point of view it's a massive error where my data is over reporting by >1200%. Currently, from what I am aware there is no plan to fix this bug, hence my post. My calculated metric is very simple; it divides an Event by Visits. One a line-by-line basis the data is correct in the Key Metrics report. However, the t...

Re: Mobile Browsers should not be classified as "None" in Browsers Report 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
I’m sure I’ll be doing much more mobile analytics this year. Straight away there is a big gap in Omniture’s reporting. Here are my ideas: 1) I need to see mobile devices by browser and browser type. This is critical in case I have lots of traffic from a particular device and browser yet a poor conversion. This report will help me prioritise development effort on making the site more device and browser compatible. 2) I like (to some extent) the way that PC and mobile device data is kept separate ...

Re: Alerts should be time-specific 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
Adding to Ben's comment ... The alerts functionality need to be customisable per report by the end user. To be very useful, I'd like the ability to set alerts that it will:1) compare data for the X time period (eg, last hour / yesterday etc), against2) the average for the same selected time period for the last Y weeks, and3) alert me if the difference is + or - Z% different. eg, alert me if the Visits to Page 'abc' in the last hour (Tue 08:00-09:00) was lower by >25% than the last 8 weeks averag...

Re: Create segments based on sequence of events 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
This essential. For example I want to know: - did someone search for a product,- find out it was 'out of stock',- then get an email saying 'it's back in stock',- and then bought the product. Ie, I need to be able to segment based on what happened 1st, 2nd, in a particular sequence etc. This needs to be available in Discover and for Event, Visit or Visitor containers.

Discover - saving column settings 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
Elsewhere I have done a Post on Discover and better date ranges; including saving date ranges. I would also like Discover to remember column widths so that when I reload a Project the settings are exactly as they where when I last saved the Project. This also applied to whether or not I have locked / unlocked the Table Width.

Discover 'show' options 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
When using Discover I would like to be able to select whatever number of items I want to 'show' in a report (within reason). Currently there are options to select 5, 10, 50, 100 etc. Could I have an option to type a number?

Advances previous and next flow reoprt in Discover 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
I like the previous and next flow Discover reports but they are rather limiting. As I user I would like: An option to select which next pages I'm interested in, and then Group all others together. The ability to add clicks / exit links in to the report. To select more than 8 next / previous pages.Be able to run a previous and next flow in the same report from my 'starting' page. There are listed in my order of priority.

Ideas Exchange needs a Product in the Ideas Exchange 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
How do we suggest ideas to Improve the Ideas Exchange when the Ideas Exchange doesn't have a 'Product' category in which to post the ideas? I'd like the Ideas Exchange to be improved so it's easier to scan through and read ideas. For example, Discover has hundreds of ideas and currently I can see just a handful per page. Therefore, to quickly scan through the list of idea titles I would need circa 50 page views - not ideal! It would be better perhaps, if the layout were similar to that of a good...

Discover and reporting on clicks / exit links 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
I want an easy and out-of-the-box way to report on how many people click on buttons or exit links on a page. For example, I want the exit link and click map parameter values to be made available in Discover and to be able to make a report / segment to show me how many people use link XX whilst they were on page YY. It has been suggested (Thanls Ben Gaines) that perhaps a new container would be appropriate for 'Page Views AND Link Events'.

Access to Ideas Exchange for agencies and consultancies 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
I work as a consultant and not a client and find it frustrating that my Ideas Exchange login is tied to a client account. Therefore, if I stop working with that client I need to create a new Ideas Exchange login under a different client account and it must have a different username. This is a pain and will limit how often I use the Ideas Exchange. Adobe needs to offer a login to agency and constancy employees whom they know and trust. We are great ambassadors and pseudo sales people for Adobe af...

Discover needs to better handle dates 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
This is a request for Adobe to enhance Discover such that it can handle dates much more effectively and offer more flexibility in order that frequently accessed Projects are much more usable and I can stop wasting several hours every week.Let me explain … Let’s assume that on 22nd March I created a Project and set the date range to “this year”. Each time I open this project after 22nd March the Project will no longer be using the date range ”this year” but instead it will show data just from 1 J...

Idea Exchange - bug in the 'idea subject' character limit 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
I just spent some time writing a post. My 'idea subject' was over 100 characters and there is a bug meaning that even when I reduced it to less than 100, it kept throwing the same error and reverting back to the initial subject. Only fix was to cancel the post and do it again. Not a major issue but annoying

Re: Tell clients you have an "ideas" exchange 120Feet - Adobe Experience Cloud
Unfortunately, having ideas posted to Twitter wouldn't address the fact that as a daily user of Omniture for >12 months I had no idea that there was an ideas exchange. Omniture's marketing communications need to change.

Change date field format from "Mar 28, 2010" to "Mon 29 Mar 2010" 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
When viewing any report by "day" include an abbreviation of the day as well as the actual date. eg,Mon 29 Mar 2010 not Mar 28, 2010 When allowing for data export / save, make sure it's output in an Excel date format. Also, the date column must be sortable in the reporting interface.

Re: % Based Alerts for relative changes in behavior 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
I'd go further than the above and add ... Alerts should be user customisable. Eg, if I am reporting on yesterday's data, I would like an alert to compare it against the last 8 Sunday's rather than yesterday or 4 weeks ago. AND then to set an alert tolerance of +/- x% or +/- an absolute number. Proving this for certain near real-time data; ie PIs for the last complete hourpart verses the same hourpart from the last x weeks would provide a truly useful alert.

Trending is a nonsense 120Feet - Adobe Analytics
The current trending is a nonsense, in fact I'd go so far as to say it's dumb and wrong. For example, if I'm looking at Monthly Uniques for March 29-31 the trend data is incorrect and misleading given that it is based on 4 weeks prior – which was the start of March. This is because Monthly Uniques is typically higher at the start of a month compared with the end of a month. My suggestion is that rather than providing a dumb trend, Omniture needs to provide a smart trend based on a much more soph...

Tell clients you have an "ideas" exchange 120Feet - Adobe Experience Cloud
Maybe I missed a communication on this, but I had no idea you had an "ideas" exchange until today. My suggestion is to tell your clients about such tools and features such as this in a more impactful manner.
