Re: ACS transactional messaging, targeting enrichment - join definition by custom profile field Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Florent,Thanks for sharing this! Using that new feature needs introducing the unique business ID in the external systems, too, which is not possible in my case.Where the custom field of the profile resource is not available is the join definition of the enrichment. Only fields from the OOB profile can be selected when creating a new join for the enrichment of the transactional message. It has been demonstrated to the support staff, too, we are waiting for their feedback. Thanks,Kornél

ACS transactional messaging, targeting enrichment - join definition by custom profile field Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,How can I do targeting enrichment in Adobe Campaign Standard profile transactional messages by using custom profile attribute in the join definition?I cannot uniquely identify the profile by the default profile attributes, therefore I need to use the pair or email + custom field in the join condition. However ACS doesn't offer the custom profile attributes when I try to setup a join definition during enrichment definition.Any help is appreciated! Thanks,Kornél

Re: Link transformer config for Adobe campaign newsletter issue Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi,We ran into the same issue on AEM 6.2 (with and without SP1, too).We have the OSGi configurations from this thread already in place (xss configuration, link checker, etc.) and they fix it when getting the HTML on the publish instance or with wcmmode=disabled from the author instance. However we also get the invalid links (like ) when Adobe Campaign standard requests the HTML.It can be reproduced by getting the HTML as http://.../myemail.campaign.content.jsonWere you able to find the root cause? Thanks,Kornél

Re: Capabilities of content blocks in Adobe Campaign Standard Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Florent,Currently I'm exploring the content blocks' capabilities for displaying dynamic content in transactional emails. So far I managed to be able to develop JS for:- Conditional displaying of event attributes (context.rtEvent.ctx...) and html when the event attribute is not blank.- For loops to display contents of collections in the real-time event. This is what I referred to as "Use case 1" above."Use case 2" looks a bit more complex to realize, probably this is beyond the intended use of c...

Re: Capabilities of content blocks in Adobe Campaign Standard Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Florent,We have several requirements that would be realized using JS inside content blocks. It seems to work, see case 1 below. However I don't find a solution for case 2.Use case 1:Display attributes (from real time event) conditionally, or iterate through elements of collections and render a table. This is doable, e.g. see the OOB content block: Greetings.Use case 2:Based on constant value or variables we would like to query a specific resource and implement content logic based on it. E.g. l...

Capabilities of content blocks in Adobe Campaign Standard Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,Is it possible to query the database in a content block's code in Adobe Campaign Standard? It would be very useful if we could write a content block that can execute a query on the database and extract some information to be included in the email. However I didn't find JS API documentation for content blocks and I don't know if this is possible or not. Thanks,Kornél

Hi Florent,For example, one possible use of this would be to integrate with external analytics service. I'm looking for an automated approach, that can add query string parameters to links in the email and calculate their values. Thanks,Kornél

Re: ACS and AEM6.2 - 'GetAEMContentList' Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,I've the same setup and ACS can get the template list from AEM successfully.Have you modified the permissions of the campaign-remote user? By default it should have access to /content/campaigns. Does this path exist on your AEM instance? Pulling in email templates is possible from this path only. The /content/campaigns path is hard-coded, and only the resource types of your email templates can be configured on ACS side.

Re: Campaign Adobe IO Rest API - Not able to set Organizational Unit & Geo Unit Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,I ran into the same issue on Adobe Campaign Standard. Our profile resource was extended with access authorization fields. We create profiles via the REST API and need to put the new profiles into the right Org and Geo units. We have a lot of geo units to support (>60) and it would be too complicated generating so much api clients and switching between them when issuing the REST API calls. Is there any other solution? Is this feature expected to appear in a new release in the near future?Thanks,K...

Re: Target mappings in Adobe Campaign Standard Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Found it.The trick is to not touch the Targeting dimension field at all, but fill in the Filtering dimension. Then ACS will copy over the entered value (your schema) into Targeting dimension and you can save it.When you touch the Targeting dimension field, the dialog won't save.

Email personalization field from 1..N linked resource (Campaign Standard) Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,I have a 1 to N relationship between Profile and CustomResource. So each Profile can have one or more matching rows in CustomResource.I would like to send an email to profiles that have a specific row in CustomResource, and I want to use fields from CustomResource in the email for personalization.Executing a query inside an Email delivery on CustomResource will give me the matching rows, and each row will identify a unique profile (via the link to Profile). Optional attributes in ACS workflows Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hello!I'm trying to build reusable workflow templates in Adobe Campaign Standard that can handle variable input structure (without having to reconfigure certain workflow steps every time the input changes). For example, in the the Extract file step I want to be able to cope with optional attributes (that may or may not be present on the input transition), and default them to empty string for the output.I thought that an expression like this - for the missing 'optionalAttribute' - could handle the...

Limit number of emails sent to a recipient in a day Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard

Multilingual content blocks in Campaign Standard Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Community,Is there a best practice for supporting multiple languages in ACS content blocks? For example, the Unsubscription link content block contains English text "You are receiving this message because ...".Is there a solution, like an i18n dictionary, where we could setup the same text in multiple languages and let the platform include the right variant based on the user's locale? Thanks,Kornél

Re: Campaign standard: template from AEM Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Florent,Meanwhile we found a way to implement our emails using editable templates (Template Editor) under /content/campaigns, see our summary onEditable templates under /content/campaign After these changes, ACS can pull in the emails successfully.I understand that supporting emails outside of /content/campaigns would probably need changes in AEM's code, too, but removing the path restriction (/content/campaigns) from ACS could still give implementors a bit more flexibility on how the AEM con...

Re: Editable templates under /content/campaign Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Experience Manager
We found a way to implement editable templates for emails with AEM's Template Editor to create emails under /content/campaign, but there were several lessons learnt. The OOTB page component (wcm/foundation/components/page) and the layout container component support the use of the template editor out of the box. On the other hand, the OOTB campaign newsletter page component doesn't support the template editor, but this page component provides other features that are necessary to make campaign emai...

Re: AEM's preview mode for Campaign users and targeted contents Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Experience Manager
Hi,There can be many reasons preventing it from working properly. Try to collect symptoms and details by checking the following:1. Are the author/publish in sync? Have you published everything properly? Check not just the page content node, but any related nodes under e.g. /etc, /content/campaigns, /content/dam, ...2. Does the content display on the publish before transforming it to targeted content?3. Are there any errors on the browser console?4. Check the network activity on page load. Is the...

Re: AEM's preview mode for Campaign users and targeted contents Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Experience Manager
Thanks for your replies! My investigation so far shows that only the "Segment ID trait" from the "Segmentation - Adobe Campaign" component group will result in such segment that will work properly during the targeting in a targeted Adobe Campaign delivery. However segments built with this one won't be resolved in preview mode on the touch UI using persona from the context hub. So it seems that either I have working preview in AEM (Contexthub+TouchUI) or working targeting in Campaign, but not bot...

Best practices for source control / release process for Adobe Campaign projects Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,I'm looking for best practices for versioning Adobe Campaign files (schemas, forms, templates, etc.) and setting up a release process with the ability to build / deploy new releases. All functionality of Campaign seems to be available via its SOAP API, so it seems to be possible to build something that exports/imports various sources. Browsing the internet I found tools that are built on the SOAP API.What is Adobe's recommendation? What do the community recommend? Thanks!

Re: Using contacts from a CRM in email delivery Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Vipul,Thanks for you hints!I tried solution number 2. The mapAny target mapping doesn't have a Targeting dimension by default. When I set the crm schema here, then I will get the well known schema incompatibility message when running the workflow.I can avoid the error by leaving the targeting dimension field of the mapAny target mapping empty. Then I can define the email coming from the temp schema (the attribute is 'Email_default'). I tried with the email attribute of the crm schema, without...

Re: Using contacts from a CRM in email delivery Kornel_Keseru - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Vipul,Thanks a lot for your help!We would like to make it working using the crm schema. On the CRM connector (workflow step) we specify a filter for the remote CRM elements, and add a number of remote fields. When running the workflow, we receive data from the CRM according to the filter, but the data in the incoming transition doesn't have the crm schema, but some kind of temporary schema. Is that expected to see such temp schema in the transition? Thanks,Kornél
