One of my form users reports that the form locks up when she copies text from another application - like Word or Outlook - into the PDF form.I have verified in the form properties that the form is compatible with Adobe Reader 7.0.5 or later. The users should be running version 8.0.Do you know why this happens and what I can do to resolve the situation?Thank you!Cindy

I am trying to set the tab order on my form to go from top to bottom in the left column of the form and then from top to bottom in the right column. However, when I move the order, it resets to the end of the form on that page.I believe this was a bug in the previous version (with Tech Comm Suite 2.5 or so). Now that I have the Tech Comm Suite version 3.5, with LiveCycle Designer 9, I would expect it to be fixed. What can be done? The current tab order makes no sense.Cindy

Even though I have the hierarchy of my form set correctly, the tab order does not logically flow from left to right, top to bottom.Just now, I deselected the Custom option, and the standard was mostly correct. However, 4 of the fields were messed up. So then I had to select Custom, put the tab order right, and hope that it sticks. There's another form where I want the tab order to flow through one part of the form, then to another part, but that one's insisting to go left to right, top to bottom....

Was there ever a bug fix for the tab order problems in version 8.2.1.4029.1.523496?I'm trying to set tab order in a form, and it's all messed up. Designer isn't doing what I tell it to do.Thank you!

All that works, but one thing has me stumped. Where is the information that tells me I need both of those events? I would never have thought of that in a million years.

Do I use both the initialize and the change events at the radio-button group level? And, if I select the radio-button group, the individual buttons are listed underneath it in the script panel. Do I just ignore them and put the code with the radio-button group?

I have a set of three radio buttons on a form (a performance evaluation). If I select the "1" button, I want 1 to populate in the text field. The same goes for "2" and "3"I have not been able to code the buttons correctly for this scenario, and can't figure out how to do it.From a previous post, I was able to get check boxes to do what I want, but they won't really work because I can't set them so that only one back may be selected. Can this be done? Thanks!

I have a form that contains several subforms and fragments within the subforms.I am unable to change the tab order in the file to correspond to the hierarchy I've established (unless LiveCycle has changed my hierarchy again).I will select the field to edit the tab order and type the new tab order number. The field moves to that position, but only for a moment. Then it moves down to the end of the tab order for the page.Is there some kind of bug? Or is there some other way to set tab order within...

For several of the radio buttons on my form, I'm receiving the warning:"This fragment reference has local overrides to one or more properties of the source fragment."It's message 2035.For each instance of this warning, I have an informational icon on the design window. It's distracting, and I want to get rid of these icons on the window. How do you do this? Thanks!Cindy

Thank you, Paul. Now I know where it's supposed to be. Alas, though, it is still not there - no matter how hard I try. I wonder if it's my resolution...

The option is checked. I've even unchecked it and then checked it again, but I cannot see what changes on my display. Can you give me a screen shot?

I would like to change the grid size on my drawing page. According to the help, I need to use the Drawing Aids palette. I'm supposed to be able to display it by double-clicking on the rules, but nothing displays. What does the palette look like? And how else can you display it?Cindy

My hope is that it can be used online and printed. One requirement is that the form be scan-able, so I hope we can create a form that we can, someday, upload to a database. But I know I have to worry about licensing, since we'll probably want to extract data more than 500 times.I'm attaching a screen shot of part of the form. Do you still think that radio buttons are the way to go?Cindy

I tried doing that - albeit by accident - but had trouble getting the buttons aligned properly in the table. I kept getting a subtable or subform in there, which wasn't what I wanted. Also, what do you mean by moving the objects around in the hierarchy? If I have a hierarchy in the form, it's nothing I did intentionally.I'm sorry - I need more information.
